The pizzas were great and the staff was excellent. Our waitress was very helpful and took very good care to make sure we had plenty of drinks and everything was great. The pizza was made with love and was extremely delicious. I can’t wait to come back. Also it’s worth noting that when I used the restroom to wash my hands before my meal there was an employee who came out of the toilet who did not wash their hands. I asked my waitress when I came out of the restroom if that guy was a cook and she said no he’s the dish washer and I let her know that he didn’t wash his hands after pooping. She said “oh no that’s terrible” and shrugged it off.

*****5-stars for sure!!! I was delighted to dine at Blue Highway Pizzeria, their 2130 E. Silver Spring Blvd. location on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Hands down, this is one of the best pizzerias I’ve been to in years, quite possibly the best one ever! Bethany waited on our table and almost immediately she remembered me as the gal who had messaged the Pizzeria with a few questions about the menu selections earlier the week before. Bethany was very conscientious and knowledgeable about the ingredients in each dish. I was pleased to find that their menu had two different types of pizza crusts to choose from that I could actually have: a cauliflower/tapioca combination and a traditional gluten-free option (certainly a perk I’ve never encountered before.) They also offer a traditional white wheat crust variety for those that like their crust that way. I ended up ordering two different pizzas, both with the cauliflower/tapioca crust. Hands-down it was the best cauliflower crust I’ve ever had: a perfect thin that still holds up to multiple toppings, with a slightly crisp edge-delicious!!!!! I can’t wait till next time when I will be trying one of their Piadine flatbread sandwiches, their gluten-free option. The roasted lamb, mint pesto aioli, mixed greens, red onions, feta, parmesan, and red wine vinaigrette option comes highly recommended and since I love lamb in the first place, that’s the one I’m going to try! I was so grateful for the conscientious effort they put forth on behalf of my individual auto immune issue related dietary restrictions. They know what they’re doing-perfect food science!

We have always enjoyed visiting The Blue Highway while in Ocala. Normally it’s outstanding. This particular visit not so much. Our visit was at 3 pm on a Saturday. We were the only customers when we arrived then a couple of families arrived. We ordered salad and pizza. The salad was delicious but it arrived at the same time as the pizza. The pizza was barely lukewarm. We ate the pizza but it wasn’t as good as I remember.
I love this place. I consistently go here with my friends every saturday and the staff greets us by name every time and makes us feel so welcome. We normally bring between 4-10 people and every time we come, we have great, hot food correct to order. We are those annoying people that customize everything and the waitresses are always so patient and friendly. This place will forever be the saturday spot. ❤️❤️
Just wanted to give a quick thanks to the Blue Highway staff in Ocala. My two children and I were passing by and decided to stop in. Our server was so sweet , the food was delicious and came out super fast . You can tell everyone cared about our experience as guest in the restaurant and that really made all the difference in our trip. We’ll be sure to stop by again on our way home. Thanks again guys!(P.S. if you’re into vegetables on your pizza, the vendure was great!)
I visited Blue Highway a little earlier today and was pleasantly surprised with my pizza. It was oven hot and prepared exactly how I asked . All the staff I encountered were so friendly and prompt and made me feel right at home. Best pizza I’ve had in years! Great job guys, you all will definitely see me soon!
If you guys are looking for an amazing restaurant this is a MUST. Today I stopped by with my husband and daughter to get a pizza before our trip to the Appleton Museum and when I tell you everything was delicious, it was DELICIOUS. We were not disappointed whatsoever. Our server was so sweet and attentive and our food was packed with flavor! We ordered a Carne Sicilian , 10 buffalo wings, kids chicken fingers and a kids macaroni and cheese .
