The place to visit for a good burger!First time visiting here, happy to find real nice and juicy burgers here with real meat.Still have to try the hotdogs but I'm sure they are as good as their burgers.Amazing flavor not huge in size but amazing for sure.Price was also just perfect not expensive at all.
My 1st time to Jacks and most defiantly not my last. By far, the BEST cheeseburger !?
Hadn’t been here in a few years and it did not disappoint. The burger is so delicious, crispy fries and friendly service. Love the old school look of the restaurant. The burger transports you back to the 50s style burger. Highly recommend!
It's been 14 years. Maybe more since I've had these burgers. I used to go there when I was a little kid all the time. Still great service. Still delicious burgers the way you want it and the condiment bar is great.
Good burger, you have to build the burger yourself, add your lettuce and tomato. It's quite expensive as well, charges per ingredient. Atmosphere is a bit outdated and a little unclean.
Occasionally my Husband and I decide to give local eateries a shot and never have we been so surprised as we were today !The quality of the meat just reminded me of the days my parents would grill in the back yard, truly you can taste the difference in the way the meat is not frozen. The price I would pay double for that quality the staff was just amazing and courteous.Definetiy going to be regulars
It's been a while since I've been to the Jack's old fashion hamburger establishment and decided to visit the Oakland Park location. At first, I wasn't sure if they were open as the parking lot was empty. I brought my family and went inside and ordered food and drinks.the burger and grilled cheese was ok. their soda machine wasn't working so they were giving out cans of soda, which was fine. Now, we were charged a "medium soda" price of $2.45. No biggie, as I know that the pompano location give free refills. halfway through my meal, I get up and ask about a refill. I was told they don't do refills or give out a second can of soda. SO YOU PAY $2.45 PER CAN OF SODA. It's not the customers' fault the fountain machine is broken.Easy solution: sell medium drink @$2.45, with a 1 add'l can maximum. So up to 2 cans for $2.45. This can easily be track by having customer bring up their receipt, and server can just cross out the "soda" line item out on the receipt. Two cans of soda for $2.45 is more reasonable. Customer happy and establishment is still making a profit.
If you have fast food craving and want a quickie Jacks offers something a little different in that it is not a national chain. But it’s burgers and fries are tasty and it satisfied my needs.
The Big Jack cheeseburger from the menu was delicious. Recommend
Still the all around famous place for real hamburgers that taste great! Shakes are the normal go-to drink, but it isnt always available...
