Miss G has become like family. She helped me feed my mother when she was sick and would only really like to eat her regular Jamaican food.She was my Mother’s favourite restaurant because well, her food is above all the other Jamaican restaurants in the area quite frankly.It was only fitting that she catered my Mother’s repast and let me tell you, the guests were RAVING about the food. She helped me put on a great spread, and I’ll always be grateful for her kindness.Go here for the best, curry goat, curry chicken, jerk chicken, brown stew chicken, oxtail and snapper fish. Breakfast includes ground food, liver, callaloo, ackee & salt fish.Fresh juices and soups daily.
Terrible service. The person who answer the phone needs to be in the back and not dealing with customers. Even worst when you go into the restaurant. Nasty attitude that ruined my appetite so didn't need to eat there. Left without ordering anything. Get better people to deal with customers please.
This restaurant has perfected the art of making coleslaw. It's tastes so flavorful, so much so it's a must have garnish. You can't turn it down!
The lady there was rude. I asked for 2 spoons of oxtail gravy for my rice because she put none. She put one tiny spoon. I told her that I asked for 2 spoons. She said there isn't enough gravy which was a complete lie. There was a whole bunch. I ended up cancelling my order and leaving. The customer service was horrible. Thank God I didn't pay yet and wasted money on this dump.
I would give them 0 stars if I could but they get 1star because first of there Extremely rude which makes no sense cause if you don’t like your job work somewhere else or don’t work at all. Second off there food is NEVER ready when I say “NEVER” I mean NEVER. If your running a Business and your lunch starts @12 and that’s usually when ppl want to come and get food on there break or whatever it may be it should be ready but no not them they food is either getting cooked or they haven’t started yet and that’s after 12:30 that makes no sense and there food is good it’s just customer service and food not being ready at the time it should be. SMH
The food was amazing. I work all over the world and have tried different food from everywhere. I've even had Jamaican food in Jamaica and this today was the best ox tail with rice and peas I have ever tasted. it was cooked perfectly. I still cant believe how good it was. I will always come here when I am in Fort Lauderdale.
I visit this restaurant often. The food is delicious! The staff is polite, and the owner is awesome! They have been consistent for years. They give you enough to keep you coming back!!!!
