We had a great meal and a nice evening. Thanks for an enjoyable evening.
The service was very very slow. It took us asking for our service and items we needed 4 times during the course of the evening. The manager did recognize this and apologized to us.
We were greeted by a very friendly staff. We elected to sit outside. Outside tables are just off busy Federal Highway so next time we would choose indoor location. The indoor ambiance is very nice. The food was quite good and reasonably priced. The waitstaff was friendly and the meals came quickly. We were three friends getting together and we all agreed Bahama Breeze provided a very nice experience.
Visiting the happy hour while on vacation. We Sat at the bar. The bartender was very friendly and nice. He Gave good recommendations of things to do while we were in the area. Food was good and atmosphere was nice. Only issue was There was a lady manager that would come behind the counter to make drinks, but she didn’t wash hands or anything before touching items behind the bar. Which was only a concern because she was all over the Resturant helping customers as a host, at tables, and then making select drinks at the bar. She seemed more in the way of the bartender then a help. We figured she was making the drinks for the people she knew as she would come up and tell him “I’m making at one” or just come back there and start making drinks. She was annoying me as a customer so I’m sure the bartender was annoyed.
Waitress was great. Food was good and no wait. Place was clean.
Drinks and appetizers superb. I chose the pineapple dish ...rice and chicken served in a pineapple. I wanted more spice so I'll chose something else next time. It was great. Keylime pie was the only disappointment.
My sister my wife and I stopped for Saturday lunch. They took time to greet us even though they were empty! When the server took our drink order (we did not get mixed) drinks, She rolled her eyes and went to get them that took so long another server asked if we had been taken care of. The food was good a little over priced. Maybe with better service they could charge what they do.
We won’t be back! After seeing this new place built, we thought we would give it a try after a movie. Big mistake! Where to start….. Artichoke and spinach dip: Flavorless and apparently there is a shortage of salsa, since it comes with about a tablespoon. Don’t waste your money on drinks. All sugar if you get one of their “specialty” drinks. Go with a good drink and plan on shelling out almost $14. Jerk chicken pasta had a few little pieces of chicken. The pineapple filled with rice, shrimp and chicken, also only had a few very small pieces of chicken. Apparently, there is a shortage of frozen chicken pieces too. Monday night. Place empty and had to wait almost an hour for two of our three dinners to come. The third was apparently given to another diner and after waiting and waiting, we were finally told what happened. Another 15 minutes to get the third meal. We were told the manager was informed of the problem, but never bothered to come over and say a word or apologize. This is where a responsible restaurant would comp the meal that showed up so late, but they don’t seem to understand proper restaurant etiquette or care about their customers. While our waitress was nice and apologetic, our recommendation would be to fire the manager! All the bright colored lights in the world won’t be enough to keep this place open. It’s obvious a lot of the locals have already discovered to stay away. Do yourself a favor and do the same. This Bahama Breeze doesn’t come close to the one at Sawgrass Mills.
The food and beverages were great. The atmosphere was nice. The service was good. The moose was low. We were happy and we plan on returning again real soon.
My husband and I went for dinner. The inside restaurant was freezing, so we opted for the patio even though it is right on Federal Highway and loud with traffic noise. we each had 2 house chardonnays. He had the churrasco and I had the buttermilk fried chicken which were both very good and came out within reasonable time. Todd was our waiter and immediately began explaining his side business of selling hurricane home protection windows and shutters which became very annoying by the time we left. When the bill came, the "house" wine we ordered was $15.99 a glass! When questioned, Todd explained that they no longer had house wines and showed me other wine types and pricing. Really? He could have perhaps told us that in the beginning. Instead of a pleasant evening, we spent over $100 on dinner and 4 glasses of wine to listen to highway traffic and an annoying sales pitch. I'm surprised the management allows him to do this or perhaps is not aware how much time he spends passing out flyers and business cards. We won't return.
