My mom decided to try them today and I've passed this place a few times so I told her to grab me a brown stew chicken with a little bit of rice and lots of extra gravy with a boiled dumpling. I was on the phone with her while she ordered so I made sure to tell her exactly what I wanted because I'm particular especially about Jamaican food I hate having a bunch of rice that will get wasted. So she got the food and came home. When I got my food it was the complete opposite of what I wanted. It was full of rice and just a small scoop of gravy on the rice now why would i want a dumpling with no gravy. The overall flavor was mediocre and definitely not worth a second trip. I'll stick to Dutch pot way better food and makes it how you request.
First time eating Jamaican food, it was delicious. The meat actually falls off the bone. Get the curry chicken. The beans and rice were amazing. And the service lady was so sweet. Had three Jamaican patties, I theres no better empanada. The prices are amazing. This feels and tastrs home cooked. Thank you!
Awesome Food. Its worth the drive. Not many good Jamaican restaurant left. Don't sleep on this one.j2
I bought breakfast here and this food is just simply clean and delicious. Perfect fried dumplings, perfect peanut porridge, perfect callaloo with boiled bananas and yellow yam. The restaurant is very clean and neat and the server is very pleasant. Such a nice feeling walking in and leaving. Great job guys!
Amazing Food And Service!!! I've never been to a more friendlier Jamaican Restaurant. I ate here several times during my last trip to Fort Lauderdale. The curry goat is exceptionally delicious?.. My new favorite Jamaican spot in South Florida.
Friendly staff, great service, and good food. I would recommend callaloo and codfish for breakfast (seriously my favorite). Whenever my family and I visit South Florida this is our favorite place to stop in grab a bite and have a good conversation with the crew.
