So for the second time in a row I came to this Pollo Tropical set out for an hour only to get to the window and be told that they had no more food. I think it's very unprofessional to do this to customers especially because as an employee you must know how much food do you have in there in order to let us customers know if we should wait in line for whole hour and a half or not. They will never have to worry about me again.
Not my go to place but I got a chopped chicken tropi chop with black beans white rice and avocado slice! My only issue it was lukewarm at best. My food must be hot and fresh so I didn't finish. I'll go back soon to try again
Unfortunately this Pollo Tropical suffers from extremely long lines. Guaranteed to be in line for at least 45 mins. Not the Pollo Tropicals fault, however it is discouraging and makes me not want to go. But normally the food is of good quality and it is a quick dinner option.
I try NOT to put my expectations too high when it comes to chain places and fast food. But These are some RUDE people! I really try to be empathetic because I am sure some people are difficult and make their job harder. But beware if you check to make sure your order is right. It will more then likely have something missing and then you will be questioned as if you made the mistake. And do yourself a favor if you have a car. Don’t let the line fool you. It WILL be quicker then going inside.
The food is good some of the time, but I don’t know who does the sauces but the cilantro is off tastes like mayo more then anything! It’s literally Cuban food and the lines be so long just go to a cafeteria ??♀️!
-1 because I placed the order at 1:13 and they didn't let me know that it was ready, so I didn't get it until 1:49. Then they forgot my Guava lemonade which was crazy small, didn't give me any napkins.
Horrible service. I mean, oh my......... Really bad. I went inside the restaurant to order to go. There was no one in front of me. I stood there for approximately 10 minutes before someone came to take the order. She had a horrible attitude, making all kinds of faces and gestures. She was talking super low, I just couldn't hear what she was saying. When I asked her to please repeat what she said, she got even more upset. Then she said, hold on I'll be back and just left me standing there. Three other customers came after me. We stood there for another 10 minutes before the manager finally came to start taking orders. Just horrible service.The order was as ordered though, which was a good thing.If you are going to come here, you best have a lot of patience. You are going to need it.
WORSE WORSE POLLO TROPICAL YOU CAN GO TO AND I HAVE LIVED IN THIS AREA 52 YEARS SERVICE SUCKS, LINES ARE TO LONG , IF YOU USE UBER EATS TAKES 3 HOURS TO GET IT , UNDER STAFFED ,RUDE ., dirty ,nasty , rude workers what to expect from young employees DON'T AN WILL NEVER GO AGAIN only to take pictures and reemail your pollo tropical support email . I know the area has gotten bad an the youth these days don't care but this store needs attention. Or new manager .Can't even get anyone on the phone EITHER
Always good service. I have never had except once a bad grilled chicken. On top of that i past the test of earning Grilling Chef.
Ok, so to start I want to say this isnt Pollo Tropicals fault but this specific location. Normally Pollo is a 5 star fast food resturaunt for me but this location is the worst. If you go here by all means please never go inside. I recently went to this location and every time I have gone in to order I have had a horrible experience. The order was taken correctly and fast but after then on it was all wrong. First after waiting 15 minutes one worker takes my reciopt and goes "umm can you wait a bit please." I asked why and said iv been here a while can i know what im waiting on she just walked away. then 40 minutes later I was given the wrong order twice. I said this isnt me my number is 326 they insisted it was mine even though their recipt said 328. I looked in the bag and it isnt my food. I come back up with my recipt say this isnt mine. they read my recipt take the food and bring me back my drinks. once again they make a mistake. these are not my drinks. they finally come back with my drinks and i ask about my food. the woman takes my recipt reads it takes it with her and goews off to make my order. only starting it now an hour after i have placed my order. she coems back and is asking me questions about my order. it was so rediculous the guy next to me waiting said to her "Ma'am your holding his recipt just read the paper, we are all waiting for our food". then she comes back with my order. (Still wrong) I decicde to take it. I ordered 2 quessadilla wraps with rice and coke and waited an hour. This isnt a complex order. What I got: 4 drinks, 2 chicken breasts, 2 quesaddila wraps a side order of yellow rice and yuca bites. I dont even know what to think. The woman was litterally holding the recipt while making the order. i wont complain about a bunch of free food but its not what I ordered and she HAD THE RECIPT IN HER HAND.long story short this location keeps getting my orders wrong and keeps taking forever. dont go here. drive to the one at 825 E 49th St, Hialeah, FL 33013 if you want good service go here if you want to wait.Food tasted great so I guess atleast they have that going for them otherwise I'd give it 0 stars if I could.(If your lucky sometimes the drive through is very fast)
