Great as ever, CJ’s. The grouper soup (not pictured) was light but hits the spot with hearty pieces of fish and veggies. The CJ platter with conch, corvina, and shrimp served how you like it is a home run. The shrimp was so fresh you could taste it and the conch was nicely seasoned under the batter. But for me it was the fish with a perfect fried crust and seasoned filet inside that pleasantly surprised me the most. Lastly the sweet potato fries were actually crunchy and served freshly made. Highly recommend coming here and giving CJ’s a shot.

We were staying in Surfside and having a hard time finding shellfish to eat out. We found this place on Google and Trip Advisor and decided to give it a try. Magno was great as a server. He showed us the case of crab claws and lobster tails and helped us choose a fun selection of dinner items. The scallops were over cooked and a little chewy. The rest was fine but not great. The best part of our $200 bill for 3 was the sweet potato fries and Magno!
I was there in October of last year when crustacean season began and of course the claws were delish! This time I treated myself to a late lunch, and since I had Joes Takeaway last weekend, I ordered the lobster bisque very good, an order of 1/2 dozen oysters from West Virginia, they were good size, texture and just perfectly fixed; I also drank an IPA to clean my pallette and then ordered blackened covina tacos you get(3) per order w a lime juice slaw-so good but by then I felt full and decided to take one to go...Definitely, took advantage of its quietness before dinner rush and Ingrid was wonderful, friendly, attentive and helpful(shes also got a great smile). Ill be back for happy hour during the week M-F 4p-7p w specials n maybe catch a basketball on the tv...
Great service, teamwork, & fantastic FOOD! Everyone helped each other. They all were nice and friendly. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and told to find a spot to sit. Fast service. Food was delicious, flavorful, and HOT (as in just came out of the fryer)! I ate everything and I typically have a doggy bag,. I'm kinda sad that I don't but that just means I have to go back!!
