I love Pollo's food, one of the best and low cost fast food restaurants. Now this particular store needs some improvements, the drive thru lane is ok at the beginning, however once you pull up to pay at the window it becomes so narrow that if you are not a good driver you will hit the curve or you will basically have to get your whole body out of the car to reach the window. And some of the sauces are not available, it happened a few times already but I understand the situation we are having nowadays.
Food is good but sometimes the service is slow as heck. Drive thru jammed up. Send this guy to the front if he has to debate. Been stuck here for 25 minutes.
This was a drive-thru visit. On March 30, 2022, at approximately 8:45pm, our car was probably the 15th car in line, and from prior bad experiences at another Pollo, I thought this might be another hour long wait. I was pleasantly surprised to see the line moving rather swiftly, and that the outside attendant had already taken the orders for the majority of the cars. I would say that we were out with our food in about 18 minutes. The food we requested they had available even at that hour. The temperature of the food was hot, smelled and looked fresh. It also was nicely plated and tasted great. And the young lady was so efficient in taking the outside orders, and did so pleasantly I might add, that upon picking up our food, she was the one who was now the cashier, handing us our food with a smile. Great service!
This has to be the worst pollo tropical I've ever been. All the soda fountain drinks taste like water. Signs the lines haven't been flush and clean. Worst customer service. And yet they want 18.00 dollars an hour smh
I went to pollo Tropical for the first time, I really like the food but as a islander, I found that the food size was too small. Besides that the island flavors and the good smell of the food were there as expected.
What a disappointment... I've order this dish about 8 times now and this is the first time I've received this tiny piece of steak. Spoke with the manager and that's how it comes. What a shame. I'll never come to this location... for a while they didn't even have chicken..What a waste of 30 mins to wait to be disappointed.
I wish I could leave a great review on this Pollo Tropical location, however it's always a headache when ever I order from here. Everytime I've ordered online pickup it takes about 10 min to acknowledge I am waiting for a pick up order to then realize my order hasn't even been made. I would say turn around time for a pick up order is about 20 min (once you've arrived at the restaurant). You're better off coming into the store or placing an order via drive thru. I must emphasize on checking your order prior to leaving to ensure you have all of your food items. I even went back and forth with an employee about a crispy chicken sandwich having chips in it and had to point out on why their ad had potato chips in their sandwich and mines didn't. I've had times that employees working demanded their food to be made before mines. Overall the customer service is horrible. I understand the whole country is short staffed but sheesh that shouldn't mean that the employees in this location should drop the company's morale! I hope this location improves on their customer service.
This is the second time I go and my chicken was dry and burnt I really don't like talking bad about places but this isn't right they shouldn't be serving food this burnt.
I was here on November 15, around 4pm. Service at the cash wrap was not fantastic; cashier rolled her eyes at me when I told her I'd placed an order online. Her interactions thereafter were cross and rude, like it was inconvenient that I was there. That same cashier had been arguing with another customer (order was incorrect) who said this was how she always acted. I had just buried my grandfather and was distraught, not that it mattered, but the last thing I needed to deal with was a rude cashier after the worst day of my life. I have worked this job before and typically have lots of patience, so I hate to complain, but I tried being friendly with this person only to have her roll her eyes, sigh, and huff as though I had ordered her firstborn. This location earned stars back for the food, which my family did enjoy.
Service is horrible starting with the order taker and ending with the "Manager".Orders were not taking accurately even when repeating the order 3 times. The cashier looked so uninterested with the chaos she created that she later had an attitude with everyone.Another costumer complaint that the restroom needed soap and the manager had a nasty attitude about it.But I have to say that Ms.Linda was Fabolous correcting orders and saved the night. She is an asset to this place and with proper training she will make a great manager. This ⭐ is for her.
