This is my 5th time ordering takeout . House of Chan has become my favorite Chinese restaurant. The ribs are to die for, the service is swift and friendly. Everything that I’ve ordered has always been authentic.and The place is nice and clean and it feels homey and it feels great to order from there. They are very consistent with their food.
Place looked nice and clean, probably because no one eats there! Bought 2 chef specials, Mongolian beef and Szchewan chicken. Both were bland and underwhelming. Pan fried rice was also bland and under cooked.
I used to get my take out from Susie Lai down the street but since they are out of business, I needed a new take out place. I ordered the Mongolian Beef and a small egg drop soup. All I can say is DELICIOUS !!!! The soup was different than any other egg drop I’ve ever had, maybe they make the stock from scratch instead of a 5 gallon drum. The Mongolian Beef was packed with flavor and super tasty and the beef was tender. Definitely took me by surprise.
I love this place. Moved nearby last year and House of Chang quickly became our go-to take out. Everything is bomb.. the Honey Chicken, Egg Roll, Egg Foo Young Thug, Beef & Brocolli, and the fried rice deserve an applause.

The people working there are friendly, the service was fast (which I don't know if that is a good thing); would I go back again? NO!. You have one opportunity to make a first impression, and they failed big time. The food was acceptable, but not something I would want to eat again, and where they failed big time was in cleanliness as I found a hair in my food. Would need to continue searching for a decent Chinese restaurant in the area.
1st time ordering from House of Chang I live out side of the delivery area but they did accommodate me. This was a plus the food was over all great!!! probably 9/10 the only complaint I have is I ordered honey chicken with sause on the side and when it arrived no honey sauce I called and they accommodated me again with credit because I wasnt gonna make them drive just sause the lady on the phone was so sweet thank you I will be returning!

Affordable food! Chinese restaurants in North Miami and North Miami Beach. None of them can compare to House of Chang. The food, the service, the delivery are so wonderful. The lady who answers the phone is so pleasant. The soup, the appetizers, and entrees are consistently good. That is what I look for in a neighborhood mom and pop restaurant.
