This seafood place, Crab Du Jour, is a hidden Miami gem! At first, I was hesitant about coming because I thought the cajun flavor might be overwhelming or too spicy; I was so wrong! The food was not only amazing but the portions were huge as well. Upon ordering, we were given the choice for cajun or regular. We ordered flounder, Cajun fries, sweet potato fries, regular fries, hush puppies, and mozzarella cheese sticks. Not only was the food excellent and reasonably priced but it was quickly prepared and served up with flavor! Thanks, David, for making our Miami seafood experience flavorful! I'm sorry for pics after we'd begun eaten, but it was yummy! To my sauce fans, that homemade Yum Yum sauce was yum yum delicious ?
Was looking for a seafood restaurant that wasn’t too far from where I was staying while in town and came upon this establishment on google, while searching options. I know that seafood is one of the most simplest things to prepare so I didn’t think I would be disappointed much but to my surprise i was. I’m creole & figured since they mentioned Cajun on their menu it would be delicious. Unfortunately none of the food i ate fro them tonight tasted Cajun. Nothing. I ordered fried calamari, Cole slaw, coconut shrimp and corn on the cop. All were pretty much bland. Doesn’t even taste like a dash of salt was introduced to the corn. Couldn’t even finish eating the calamari since it wasn’t prepared properly. The breeding was soggy & the squid was bland and not seasoned well. Not everyone can prepare seafood well & tonight it showed. #wastofmoney
If you were thinking about ordering this food off of DoorDash thinking the food will be good, don’t. This was my first time trying it and what a disappointment, is this how they treat delivery orders? The breading was basically falling off the fried calamari, the calamari was bland at that, like chewing on a used tire. The lobster roll, the big ticketed item, I believe my index finger was longer than that sandwich. No taste, and you can literally eat it in two bites. You guys are trash for doing this for a delivery order no I’m sorry the food was. The fries tho, it was good, there were a few that weren’t cooked but overall the fries get a 6.5. Do better.
The seafood was fresh. Make sure you order the green mussels, they were huge! They have a good selection of seafood. I ordered combo A that I can pick 3 things in a bag (they even have blue crab in one of the choices, which is rare in this type of restaurants) My server (David) was very welcoming with a nice smile. Very good experience. Good food, good vibe, and good price.
David made our family outing very delightful. My teen niece and nephew wanted to make that I leave a big tip and outstanding review about our experience. In their words “David was generous, knowledgeable of the menu, engaging and make hospitable. The food was very fresh and tasty. I overall experience was amazing.
Came out for their grand opening and the service and food was so amazing we had to come back a few weeks later. This time Kiana was our server and she did outstanding. We had a small issue with our order but Jr. (the manager) went above and beyond to make things right. Overall another amazing experience. Heads up: best choice in the menu is the Du Jour Catch Special and their Po' boys will take you back to Louisiana.Edit: Jan 8, 2021... they now serve beer.. YAY!!
A new Gem has arrived to Skylake plaza. Highly recommend this place, great atmosphere, great service, Kiana was amazing !! and most important DELICIOUS food. Definitely coming back
This place was awesome. Very clean food came out fast and delicious. My server Kiana went over and beyond serving my family and I. She greeted us with a smile and was genuinely nice you can tell she wasn’t faking the funk

My wife and I came here to enjoy her birthday. The seafood boil was excellent and the vibes were on point great music and ambiance! I recommend hush puppies with sweet chili sauce
