If you are looking for good south of the border inspired food, go here. The owner is extremely kind and not only took our order but also talked to us about his inspiration for the dishes that he had on his menu. Everything we ate was good. I had the veggie burrito and it was huge and so good. I would get avocado with it next time for sure. (I ate the avocado from my dad's food and it was the perfect addition.)My boyfriend had beef tongue tacos and was super impressed by them. My mom got the stuffed pepper and also enjoyed them. My dad got a mix of meats and said everything was cooked really well. The rice and beans was not the traditional rice and beans you get at every other Mexican restaurant (which makes sense...this is not a Mexican restaurant!) The beans were not refried but came whole with a flavorful sauce. The rice wasn't the usual rice you get at Mexican restaurants--it was really good though. Overall this place is worth giving a try. We'll be back!
This restaurant is the real deal! If you like Mexican food, this is the place for you. They will adjust the spice to your taste. The restroom was clean and the table and floors were spotless. Over all a great experience!!!

Amazing food and service. My boyfriend and I went here because we were craving micheladas and tacos. Reasonably priced. Everyone was so nice, the owner even asked what music we wanted to hear. Great spot!! We definitely will be back.
My absolute favorite taco spot! Hands down one of the best doing it in the area!You will find me placing an order atkesst every taco Tuesday which a might add are a dollar a taco, chicken or beef!It is real true the culture with the vibes inside the restaurant and even has a small market on the other side.The best tacos and more that you can go get in the area.
For our first time, the food was very fresh and absolutely DELICIOUS!!! Kinda wish there were fountain drinks, as I love to take one to go.But the man that waited on us, was so polite,and had small conversation with us, and was also great. Kisses to the chef, we left full and happy. This is my review 3 days later, and I'm still thinking about it. They serve lengua!!!! I was def excited!! I know its pricey, but it is sooo hard to find places that have that, and it was just as good as if I had made it at home. We will def be returning! The torta was everything!
What an absolute gem! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!We all had breakfast and everyone LOVED it ? our service was absolutely perfect, too! José, the owner, waited on us. Polite, knowledgeable. Brought over a sample of something we had asked about. Tortillas from scratch. Chorizo was phenomenal. They have a market attached so you can buy a lot of specialty items to cook at home as well. We will definitely be back. Some of the best Mexican we have ever had!
if i could give more stars i would... they have the cuties little place that serves the best food. the menu option is ranges from streets tacos to menudo. With the wonderful food and great low prices i will diffently be coming back!!!!!!
The cuisine is authentic. Definitely a great Mexican restaurant. The owner is very personable , don't be intimidated from the outside ?. Worthy of going back Next time in ft Myers.
Truly excellent Mexican food. Owner Gustavo Lepe personally makes sure everything is perfect for his customers. Homemade food from family recipes that are sure to please. Portions are large and I recommend going there hungry. After 5 years living in Cape Coral La Bamba is without a doubt the best Mexican food I have found since leaving Texas. I felt like I was back in San Antonio.
