The food is great, large portions. The ribs are excellent and meatloaf is great with the mash potato. The drinks are in large mason jars and the tea is very good.
Well, sorry about the 3star review, but pot roast is all cooked in the same pot, this was some meat with vegetables. You are still new at this spot so I'm sure things will improve,as will my review when it does, that being said.. it is at the shell factory so parking is no problem plenty of handicap spaces and is handicapped accessible with wheelchair access, very pleasant staff very prompt service prices are average, if you're out and about give it a try..
Outside bartender today is pathetic! The older bald guy. I am a regular customer. I live here all year. Came here early to watch a baseball game and bring food home. Asked him to put game on and he blew me off! Not the first time it's happened! It is not busy at all! Every time he stands in front of the register it looks like it's his first time and he is rude to unhappy customers. You just lost a full time customer. 6/02/22
Waitor waited on other tables multiple times without ever taking our order. Someone vomited. I told them. He continued to serve other people. I asked for our check because I couldn't handle the vomit, charged us $9 for half drank drinks. 20 minutes and never even got to order.
We usually come here for dinner but a group of us were out for lunch so we decided to stop by. The burgers are great but the AYCE fish for $12 is excellent. Served with slaw &, hush puppies & fries. They bring out the 1st plate with 5 pieces of fish, a lot of fries, 2 hush puppies and a small cup of slaw. the second servings are plenty. I only had 7 pieces of fish 1/2 the fries, slaw & 1 hush puppy and was full. The fish is very lightly battered and crisp Not Greasy! Excellent. 3 of us had the AYCE and there were 3 pieces of fish left but we couldn't take it home, a bummer!
Went here for Easter lunch and it was TERRIBLE! McDonald’s is better than what they had to offer. I ordered the smoked turkey mash potato and green beans and the green beans were out of a can and mash potatoes instant and turkey was not smoked it looked like it was Cooked in a crock pot and it was VERY dry. Kid got spaghetti noodles were hard and sauce was dry. Son got the pot toast and he said it was terrible too. $90 for a terrible water lunch…. Also most of the Easter festivities were not working…. No bumper boats and no gem mining…..
We have been going to southern grill which was Fishbones before owner passed for 12 yrs now.They have the absolute best fried or broiled fish.Its called Basa.I love love love their fish.Its so tasty and light no fishy taste at all.service is great.I always get the all you can eat fish .Just the best.!!!!you can't go wrong eating here.looking for superb fish go there and check it out you won't be sorry.
AYCE Fish Fry ! Staff was friendly n quick. Large outdoor and large indoor. Indoor was more come to have dinner n go. Outside seemed like patrons would be at tables for hours. Music starts at 4 - I feel that’s when the table outside get full
Worst cold food EVER! $40 for tasteless burgers. Fries had been fried twice and still came out cold. Wait-staff was great, but don't waste your money here go elsewhere and eat.
Went for boasted chicken with my husband. Breast, thigh and leg. Chicken very fatty and the thighs on both our plates were actually the back of the chicken. Green beans out of a can. No flavor to anything. Onion rings were over battered and almost inedible. Best thing was the potatoes (I believe out of a box) with jar gravy. Will not return and definitely will not recommend. Also meal came to 39.00 and we were charged 69.00. This was finally corrected.00
