Went there this last week at 430pm: Restaurant was not that busy and we were immediately seated. Iced tea was good and had adequate sugar. Waitress was attentive and took our order in a reasonable amount of time. I ordered a gyro and my wife had a open face turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes. Food was delivered quickly and all components were hot. The gyro was well seasoned and was more than enough for an adult. Fry’s were well cooked and ketchup was already on the table. My wife’s open faced sandwich was good and she liked the gravy. Refills on the ice tea came without asking. Prices were very reasonable and we will definitely be returning there in the future.

The lovely wait staff is so short that they are exhausted. Yet they continue to provide good service with a great attitude! I had the Mediterranean omelette. It tasted good and the ingredients were fresh. Unfortunately the eggs were overcooked, rubbery and dry. I look forward to returning to the Athenian to taste some of the delicious-looking entrees on the menu.

Great place to eat. Definitely recommend you to go. Friendly staff. Delicious food and lots of food served for the prices shown. Definitely will be visiting again!

Filthy dirty carpet and restaurant! We went in and couldn’t believe the state of the place. The carpet is literally black! We hoped the food would redeem the place but we were wrong. The potato soup tasted of heavy flour. The meatloaf tasted of breadcrumbs and the mashed potatoes were boxed!!! The gravy had no taste other than flour. My chicken was grainy and had strange hard fat pieces…I didn’t know chicken could have such a thing. There’s more but that’s the gist of it. Maybe this was a good restaurant once but it’s not anymore. We had high hopes and walked out disgusted. My husband has been nauseous since leaving. I didn’t eat my plate after the second weird chicken fat piece. Too bad…we had high hopes as I absolutely love Greek food…but this definitely is not the place!

I ordered delivery. Food was delivered promptly but it was soggy, Couldn’t even eat in Reuben sandwich I ordered. Maybe add some special order instructions like I’ll take the the sauce on the side. Or poke holes in French fry container so they don’t get soggy. Some of the food wasn’t even what I ordered I think they tried to make up work by adding additional things how about we update our menus and these restaurants instead of pretending that they have what they don’t have and then blaming it on Covid.

Nice diner with a Greek themed decor. We visited at a quiet time, so I can't comment on how busy it might get and how hard the staff work. There is quite an extensive menu with something for everyone. Based on what we ordered and what we saw on others plates, they serve very generous portions. Many full meals come with soup and salad and dessert as well as a mountain of food for your main course. Everything that was meant to be hot was actually really hot. My greek salad was very refreshing and tasty. Staff are friendly and very accommodating. They will make it right or get you anything you need. From what we saw, be prepared to take food home with you. Almost everyone was getting doggy bags to go and even ordering extra to go. Lunches might be slightly smaller and don't come with dessert and might come with soup. The lunch specials seem to be quite good for the money. As they had just finished the lunch crowds, they had likely not had a chance to clean all the tables, so there was some tables that were not exactly ready for customers. But they were soon on it after things died down. We will be back for breakfast soon.

Always huge portions for a reasonable price and the staff and owner are super friendly. One of my favorite places to stop in and get a bite to eat. Almost always leave with leftovers! They have a multitude of various foods, not just Greek, so don't shy away if you aren't a fan of Greek food...plenty of other items on the menu to choose from. OPA!

The food was good, the service was great. The restaurant itself is extremely dated, the carpet is old. The building from the outside looks almost abandoned and dilapidated. The prices are reasonable but in general the place needs some TLC.

This was probably the worst Greek restaurant I’ve ever had the misfortune to visit. The gyro meat was tasteless and overcooked, the Greek salad had sweet dressing, and the vegetables were tasteless as well. Do not waste your time nor money.

This is an amazing family restaurant. Our server was amazing and right on, never had to ask for anything. The prices are amazing reasonable with soup, salad, rolls and desert all included. Other restaurants need to learn from this one.The owners are really nice and come to the table and ask about experience.PLEASE GO TO THIS PLACE TO EAT, YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED.
