This Pepito's is phenomenal. Sometimes I come here alone, sometimes I go with my wife and daughter, but no matter what, the service is perfect. The food is amazing, although if I were cooking in their kitchen, I would probably cook the steak to order, and for not so long. Tender steak is better steak. Also, every 30 minutes, a beautiful woman patrols the lobby asking every single patron how they're doing. More restaurants should follow this model, and make this area even more amazing than it already is!
The food looked good. Service was good.Kind of pricey for the area. Didn't think Mexican should cost so much. Two of my kids ordered the same soup. One was good the other wasn't. They switched after the good soup was almost done and it was soo bad.
I'm spoiled to live so close to Pepitos! They have a great staff who always remembers you and takes good care of you. The service is always timely and quick. From complimentary chips and salsa, your drinks, and your meal. The food presentation always looks very appealing and appetizing. The prices are good, especially for what you're getting. The restaurant itself is very clean and has a good atmosphere. Highly recommend! And highly crave-able!
I grew up on the boarder. I love the hispanic culture. Living in Florida it's hard to find good authentic Mexican Cuisine. You smell fresh corn chips in the air, everyone speakin spanish, and when they bring the fajitas out is my favortie part. Dont get me started on the menudo.....thanks for reminding me of home.
Excellent service!! Ordered Shrimp and fish street tacos....not the biggest fan of the yellow corn tortillas...kinda fell apart and just not my favorite. The shrimp was really good and the fish was OK. I would probably go back just because of the service! They were super busy but the waiter was fast, friendly and remembered everything and had a great sense of humor...the side of wings were fantastic. Wasn't the biggest fan of the salsa. I would compare it to more of a can of salsa you can buy at the store. I really think they make it though, as there was no consistency to the size of tomatoes(there was a huge tomato that came out of one of the jars you pour at the table). Not a complaint at all about thr salsa, just not my favorite!
I did take out for lunch. From the moment I walked thru the door, manger greeted me, my waitress listened to me and my take out was to order. Service was quick. My quesadilla delicious. Came with salad and rice and beans, chips and plenty of salsa.Prices are also good. I don't think you will be disappointed.
Not too bad. Salsa has too much of a crushed tomato taste. Very bland. Overall taste was average and bland. Nothing that separates it from another restaurant. Very good service though.
First visit / Last visit ! The food was far from flavorful. Apparently running out of cheese. I’ve never seen a chimichanga served with not even a drop of cheese on top. Rice & beans were on the dry side with very little flavor. The salsa had half dollar size pieces of cilantro throughout and it felt strange trying to chew it up. We were very disappointed. Our party of 6 waited long for our food.
In our hunt for a GOOD Mexican restaurant we decided to try this one. We had been in years ago for lunch and now we tried dinner. The server was both attentive and enthusiastic. We felt very welcome. The food itself was just OK ... but that's what we are finding in this area - a fact that surprises us with so many military families here.
I got the quesadilla with shrimp and grilled onions, fabulous, there was 8 at our table, everyone got something different and there were no complaints!
