The food is amazing but the customer service is aweful. I’ve been a few times and one time they closed before the hours stated then another time needed extra sauce and stated would pay for it and they still refused to do so. So not the greatest experience but the food is amazing hands down.
It used to be the best locally owned fried chicken franchise. But ever since Covid and the lack of people willing to work (because of government stimulus money), it is lacking the same quality as it had pre-pandemic. I was really disappointed because I used to love their food and service. Hopefully things improve soon.
I understand prices are going up but this is wrong. An order of okra for $5.49 plus tax. This has always been a family favorite but this is WRONG! This is not a side nor is it worth $6.00. Do better Danny’s. I questioned this sad box to staff and they said that’s how it is!
Chicken pieces are small and heavily breaded. They constantly short you on the pieces, I guess that counting is not part of the job. One order of 20 piece box was short one piece, next time order was short 2 pieces. My next order of 20 pieces, I will count them in the parking lot, and if short, will tell the manager that they have lost my business and I'll go to KFC now as well as send a letter to the Better Business Bureau and the Chamber of Commerce.
Ridiculously good fried chicken!
This place is amazing. I’m not big on fried chicken but my crew raved on and on so I tried it and was blown away. Perfect cook, fresh and hot, sides were so good - chicken and dumplings ridiculously so and the biscuits made with real BUTTER. Quick and polite service as well. Love it, will miss it.
Went early on a Sunday thinking it would be the best time. Both wife and I ordered the two piece meal. Small portions and some selections were very spicy. I had all white with mashed potatoes and gray with a side order of coleslaw. Potatoes and gravy were very cold and the coleslaw had no flavor. Wife had red beans and rice and casserole, some being to spicy to eat.
The fried chicken was fresh, juicy and flavorful. And definitely reasonably priced. Some of the best fried chicken we've had.
We love Danny’s Fried Chicken! I couldn’t imagine Niceville without Danny’s. Great food and prices...you get delicious food for a fraction of what you pay anywhere. Say hi to Miss Patti when you go in...she is usually there working up a storm!?
