We went through the drive-thru and ordered 2 chicken strip baskets and a cheeseburger meal.. they got our drinks wrong and was not happy we asked them fix them, than we get our food and our fries are cold and my daughters burger was hard as hell like it had been there for a while..maybe get all the teenagers off their phones and pay attention to their job and things might get better! And maybe get a manager that doesn’t talk to you condescendingly when you tell him about a problem ?♀️?♀️
Debated about leaving a comment but im going to because this is not OK, So me and my fiancée decided to try dairy queen for the first time for myself, We get in there and they seemed to be having trouble with the card reader which I understand because I work in retail so I understand this happens sometimes with the card reader non theless the cashier calls what looked to be a shift manager for help he tries to run the order again with no success, So he then says I'm going to reboot the system let's see if it works, And it did. The following day my fiancée decided to look at her bank statement and seen there was 2 pending transactions for $22 and some change she calls the merchant "dairy queen" several times throughout a course of several days and no answer finally gets ahold of someone and they said there is only one charge on our end but clearly the bank showed 2 cleared transactions person from dairy queen says nothing we can do. So we basically wasted $22 and drove 20 minutes for bad customer service..... BEWARE
My 80 year old mother went to Dairy Queen in Niceville today, Drive Thru and ordered an ice cream, Turtle pecan cluster blizzard today. She said as she drove off and opened the lid the ice cream was pure liquid, she went back through the drive through and the person at the window, said they had been having trouble with the ice cream machine, she asked for the manager and the manager, Robby, was extremely rude and acted like it was my mother's fault then told her to go to Walmart if she wanted ice cream. He said " what do you want from me" My mother asked for her money back and the guy threw the money at her. He was horrible to her and should be reprimanded by the owner at the very least. This is no way to treat anyone. negative stars for this establishment!
Went for a burger combo. Wanted the burger, chili cheese fries, and a plain sundae. Worker said he could not swap the drink for ice cream so I said give me a coke. I get to the window he did not add the ice cream no big deal. But the fries were plain I said something and he rang me up for an additional chili cheese fry and ice cream. Asked for a manager cause now I have plain fries I don’t want and a drink I don’t want and still ended up buying everything separate. Try to explain that I paid extra money for things I didn’t want and he responded “yeah”. I asked for a refund on the fries and coke and he said no. Finally got my refund after about a minute back and forth in drive thru. Was way better before it closed.
Went through the drive-thru just after 8:00 p.m. ordered a s'mores shake boldly advertised in the middle of the display. "We don't have that". Ok... How about an Oreo blizzard? "We don't have that either". Great. So we order a few blizzards and milkshakes. Then one kid wants chicken fingers and fries. "Sir, our kitchen is closed". Whiskey tango foxtrot, this is a grill and chill. Whatever... I pull up to pick up our food, and one of the milkshakes isn't on the order. Good grief.Try Sonic next time. They don't stop serving food after 6:00 p.m., and usually if they have it advertised, they can make it for you.
I worked at this DQ 20+ years ago for several years. I've eaten enough ice cream here to last me four lifetimes, at least! Usually, you burn out when you eat that much ice cream. That doesn't apply to this place. My whole family loves getting DQ here now. This is definitely the best one in the area. The drive thru is decently fast. The blizzards are always perfect and the cheeseburgers are still amazing!

You need to post your hours in the App, on your Google search results, and for goodness sake (!!!) your voicemail that comes up when someone calls! The last result is to dial your number and EVEN THAT doesn’t give hours of operation! I will gladly change my review when these 3 things change, maybe to 5 stars after you change the policy where people can’t adjust their order in the drive thru line at the window.
The staff don't wear masks, so if one has COVID, y'all do! ???Thanks for the shakes.The kids loved them.Always a hit with the kids when they get a special treat.I'd suggest driving through (not dining in) getting some shakes for the kids, then heading to 3rd planet brewery so the adults can have a beer in peace whilst the kids sugar up and play in the kids area.
I love DQ, but we just moved to the area and this location is by far the worst I have experienced. The blizzards are always runny (not even hot outside ) and the drive thru staff member especially tonight was very rude and had a horrible attitude. We always say please and thank you and she didn’t say a word back to us. So I would recommend going somewhere else if you appreciate nice people and above average ice cream.
