The food was very good and fresh. The side salad was a generous portion served with a warm dinner roll. All three people in my party enjoyed their meal. The portions for each meal were generous and everything was nicely prepared with an appealing presentation. Some of the dishes on the menu are reasonably priced. Others are a bit pricy. I live about 45 minutes away. I would dine there again if I was in Niceville at dinner time, but Iâm not sure I would make a special trip for a return visit. However, the food was very good and Basil and Baxterâs is certainly worth a try.

This is a little bit of a drive from Destin back across bridge but so worth it. Food and service excellent, my husband dies over size of his steak my grouper was over the top

Our 4th time eating at this little gem of a hide-a-way! We did choice to sit in the back 'high top' bar area, and we will not do that again, the service is as not great. But do not discount how amazing the food was--PERFECT!

Small Town feel with big town taste. Had the lemon chicken and it was absolutely to die for. Hands down some of the best mash I've had in quite a while and their lemon butter white wine sauce was delicious.

Reservations are a must for Sunday Brunch! Pros: excellent service, very reasonable prices, high quality ingredients, and mostly delicious preparations. Everyone we interacted with was terrific! We will go back!
