Wonderful place to get food to go or sit outside. The chicken sandwich and jalapeño poppers were awesome. The soup was homemade with so much flavor. We will be back
Disappointed because all the positive reviews. Thought this place would be delicious bc of all the locals in the lot.The pulled pork was good don’t get me wrong, but the bbq sauce definitely saved it because some parts were very dry and the bun was spongy. Overall 7/10 pulled pork, definitely expected better. My standard is that if you need BBQ sauce, you screwed it up.The fries on the other hand…. an absolute fail. They were soggy and over-salted. Horrible. The damn fry wouldn’t even support its own weight.The place is called Uncles Chicken. So go with the chicken.
So so good best chicken fingers I’ve had hummus was great! They have a cute little outdoor area we ate at, it was a good vibe all around! Staff was super chill and friendly! The menu has some bomb options check this place out you won’t be disappointed! Support more small businesses!
One of best restaurants around if not the best. The owner is great guy to start with who has fantastic food and his own family recipes. The food is always top notch. I can’t say enough about this place. I great variety of food. You can’t go wrong with with is smoked food. Definitely a place to check out if you want fantastic food.
Uncle chickens is a don’t miss place. Had lobster smoked Mac n cheese, gyro and chicken mushroom soup. All A+’s. The best bite of the meal was the rib sandwich! Super tender Memphis style ribs on a Martina roll and plenty of it!
I brought my mom to eat lunch here today. She had never been and now she is hooked. If I could give them 10 stars I would. The food is really that delicious. The best in Volusia County by far. Their service is awesome and the owner is one of the nicest, down to earth people you will ever meet. The outside setting was perfect and the music was awesome. It was a very relaxing experience and I can’t wait to come back. Our order consisted of the Rib Sandwich (definitely a world class winner), The French Dip (beyond delicious), The Smoked Chicken and Mac n Cheese cup (worth the hour drive alone), and The Creamy Pinot Grigio Chicken and Mushroom Soup (your tastebuds will leave you speechless). The food was so good, my mom ordered another Rib sandwich to go and a soup, after I let her taste mine. I ordered 4 more soups and the shrimp tacos for dinner. When I finally did make it home and ate the tacos, I said *#%*, I should have ordered more to go. It was that good. The only sad part is I live an hour away and can’t come up as often. I do know they have a live band on certain days and the music is real good. I’ve passed through there on my travels and the parking lot is full of people jamming and eating. I wish I lived closer.
The food was very fresh, well prepared, and all three meals we got last night were very much enjoyed. It's never too crowded, and ordering ahead works fine. The owner is quite entertaining as well, as he keeps it all moving along. Good portions, and a fair price for the quality of the food - is all I ever look for. And an easy drive in and leave
This is the place to stop if you’re coming to visit new Smyrna :) the food is great, the vibes are great the service is excellent. Love love love it
