it's wonderful atmosphere, great food.
Ate lunch here with the wife and loved the food. Great flavor and portions a more than filling. It's walk up ordering and outdoor seating. Could use more seating during the busiest of times hut we went between lunch and dinner rush and got a table easily. During peak times I'd suggest getting it to go or plan on eating it in the car. But please don't let that deter you from visiting. The food is well worth it.
First time at The Taco Shack. Everything was delicious! Who doesn’t love $1 tacos on a Thursday evening?! Beef and vegetable soup, Spanish rice, red and black beans, loaded quesadillas and dough fries. Had to bring half of it home. Now we know why you always have a line! Thank you to the wonderful staff! We’ll be back!

Since they opened there is always a line of people waiting, and yes it's really that good. The line moves along quickly, and the food is ready even quicker. The flavors are spot on and the portions are awesome! Highly recommended you stop and get a taco!
We tried the Taco Shack after multiple people suggested it. It was a cool evening so we didn't sit at the picnic table to eat but took our food home. It was very good!
Pretty good local spot.. fair sizes, fair priced. Great flavor, just wished they added more sauce on top of the chimmichunga ...will be back!
Excellent Hispanic food served in a casual outdoor sheltered dining pavilion. Family operated. A weekly (or more often) treat when we visit family in Edgewater. Don't confuse it with Taco Bell. This is REAL Hispanic food.
Fantastic food, person taking order was very pleasant and repeated order to ensure it was correct. Server promptly brought order out and again made sure everything was correct and to our satisfaction. Very nice family establishment and great food. And did i mention, the prices are very reasonable.
