It’s all great The music is excellent The staff is tops Management is spot on
Cindi was an amazing server! She handled everything quickly and beautifully. Best server ever!
Amazing food, great service, short wait times even with a multiple parking areas packed full. Zach & Andrew were hustling taking care of everyone quickly.
It's hard to go wrong here, but the Spuntitori Italiano is AMAZING, and you're basically getting 2 (or 3!) meals in 1 with the amount of leftovers you'll be able to take home. It's HUGE!
Noah gave outstanding service. Noah is well knowledge about the restaurant and the menu! Everyone at our table loved their dinner! Bonus, the bathrooms are clean and I love that!
Had a wonderful meal tonight with family. The Garlic will have something for everyone. From pasta to seafood, they have a really good menu. Even for the picky eaters. They have gluten free options and a few Egan options. If you are disabled and in a wheelchair it can be a slight challenge to navigate if they are busy. Get a hostess to escorts you in case people need to move. They have a few tight places. No stairs to worry about. Just some patience and enjoy the meal.
We always stop here when we visit New Smyrna Beach, one of my all time top restaurants anywhere, love it!
This was my second time to The Garlic. I'm not impressed. I did enjoy the tiramisu. It was very good. The salad had no variety and only oil and vinegar were offered as dressings without an upcharge. It's very expensive and loud. Food was so-so.
Place has great atmosphere but too bad the food was mediocre. Fabulous staff made the dining experience fun but all 8 people in our party thought the food was only average. For the price of the meals I expected much better. I will not be back and will advise anyone who goes to not get their hopes up.
This was my second visit to The Garlic...the last time was in 2018 and I planned my trip to the Keys stopping in New Smyrna for a night (May 29) just to have this experience again. It did not disappoint! My daughter and I shared the hot artichoke dip appetizer, the tomato basil bruschetta, pasta puttanesca, and the bocce ball, a filet mignon meatball that could feed a family of 4! Everything was piping hot, had incredible flavors and textures. Absolutely delicious! EVERY SINGLE staff member we encountered was incredibly friendly, which is saying a lot given the crazy busy evening it was. The three hostesses were always smiling, the outdoor AND indoor bartenders were friendly and accommodating, the Il Forno chefs were outgoing and fascinating to watch. Our waiter was exceptional/efficient and we had a good laugh: He told us his wife was expecting a baby soon. I said like anytime this month? No, he said, like any minute! He treated us like we were his only care in the world! The whole experience was so amazing, we haven't stopped talking about it! One caveat: Don't go there if you're in a hurry! If you go during busy dinner hour, don't expect to be seated right away. We waited 90 minutes for a table, and we just embraced the experience by getting a cocktail and meandering through each room, with variety of live music, twinkling lights, and the eccentricity of the place.
