Beautiful evening. Perfect weather and fun night with friends. Live music was really good and the food was good. We shared lots of Appetizer’s. The Shrimp were big and very well done. Served with Cocktail sauce and we had the Nashville Chicken sliders. Wow, those were HOT ?but tasty so beware. The only drawback was the Bloody Mary. It was very very sweet? Served with a Skewer of Shrimp, Lime, Olives and Sweet, Caramelized Bacon and a sweet rim of Cajun sugar surrounding the cup? I mean, it was an Appetizer on its own, but why was the mix so sweet that I could no drink it? Strange…
we went waterside to Outrigger’s Tiki. Parking is complimentary valet. You walk up the path to get to the restaurant directly on the water. Just beautiful. The weather was perfect. Tiki bar outside and dining as well as indoor bar and seating. We waited 30 minutes for indoor table vs one hour for outdoor table. We got a drink and waited. 30 minutes later table ready. The food was delicious and our server was attentive. I would suggest going during happy hour 3-6 for drink and appetizer specials. Waterfront dining means waterfront pricing. Would we go again? Yes. We enjoyed the food, drinks and atmosphere. Shorts were welcomed. It’s in a marina
Best shrimp EVER! (Today’s special). Shrimp with mango sauce, saffron rice, strawberry pico! Mahi mahi tacos were out of this world! Service was TOP NOTCH! (Thanks, Deb!). And Chef Erik….thank you for visiting with us…you are a magician with food!
Repeat visit. Great crowd. One hour wait was only actually 30 minutes. Food is great. Atmosphere and grounds are wonderful. Great outdoor railing bar to enjoy a drink while waiting for table. Can’t wait for next visit.
The other morning my wife had a dental appointment, at New Smyrna Beach. That office is only a 10-minute drive north of us. In order to kill time, I noticed a classy sign for the “Outriggers Restaurant and Tiki Grill” nearby. I investigated and after she got finished, we headed there for lunch. High end for sure, but the food and atmosphere certainly were worth it. We both ordered the same, their Lobster Mac and Cheese. Out of this world. We also discovered that they have unique condo units, some of them available for rent. “Stay at the newest community in NSB that offers a full-service marina, restaurant and bar, as well as high end custom homes. This home features 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The home is also furnished with high end furniture and appliances.” What this place offers------ Kitchen Wifi Free parking on premises Shared pool Shared hot tub
Had Lunch here, yesterday. It was awful! I had read such good reviews... Firstly, arriving at 12.30,all tables by the water were taken, so we were put down at the end,on a high top table, which was uncomfortable to say the least. My view was of the last table. We all ordered the tacos..I had the Mahi and my friends, the shrimp. For sides, we has sweet potato fries. Orders arrived and the fries were literally burnt! So I sent them back and they brought ones that were cooked properly. But they were SO salty, I only ate a couple. There was a miniscule amount of fish in the tacos. The presentation was good, but again, the fish was so salty. The shrimp was also very salty...my friend couldn't eat it! The waiter was inattentive, not even refilling the water glasses. When he came with the bill, I told him about the saltiness, but he didn't care, just made some joke! Don't waste your money on Lunch here, you are paying for the view ( if you are lucky to have one)!
