Great place, my wife and I go there regularly for oysters. Service is exceptional across the board. The shucker is a pro, oysters are clean and well released from the shell and ready to slurp down.Highly recommend if you're an oyster lover. Haven't explored much of the rest of the menu because their oysters are just too damn good.
They don’t have enough chairs at the big horseshoe bar. We like to sit at bar. There’s plenty of open spaces but not enough chairs. Buy ten more stools and make room for your customers.
First time we have had a horrible experience at a NSB restaurant. I should have trusted my gut when we sat at the bar but didn't. Thought it would get better. Our bartender was Rio. She needed an attitude adjustment. She looked like she was pissed off constantly. Our questions seemed to annoy her like what are the beer specials? Or any Happy Hour specials? We ordered the Mussels Provencal to split and a beer. The sauce was delicious but they gave you a tiny slice of French bread to soak it up. We asked for another and it was also tiny. Really? We were going to order dinner but I didn't want to spend any more time looking at Rio's scowling face. We left and went to another restaurant for dinner with a friendly bartender. Rio needs to find a job at a desk with no interaction with people in my opinion.

Coming back after 2 years of visiting this establishment on various occasions and leaving a revised review. There are two of these establishments and I must say that I 100% prefer the one up north acessed thru south Daytona. The service is equally as good at both places but I feel the food is a bit better coming out of the kitchen up north.Reason being that I have not had the best of luck with a few of the dishes that I received on my last couple of visits here. I don't want to get into it very much because I do enjoy eating here but I do wish it had more consistency with the dishes of food. Im starting to think it's worth the drive to go to the one I prefer just to have more confidence in the excelence of the prepared dish that I order. Is that even a sentence? Lol, you know what i mean....
We visited after being treated very poorly at two other area restaurants on Sunday 3/27. We sat at the bar so we could have a drink after a beautiful day at the beach! Our experience was nothing short of perfect! The ladies at the bar made us feel like we were important. The drinks were good and the food was on point and out quicker than expected. We had snow crab, Mahi, Rock Shrimp, and salads. I asked to see the manager at the end of our meal. The lady bartender was concerned that we were not happy but it was the opposite. We were thrilled with our experience and I hope it’s going to be the same when we come back next time! Most times these experiences done get the credit they deserve. I had to share. (Even if a week later) Thank you to the Off the Hook staff for a very enjoyable meal!
We had dinner here and the food was good. Service wasn’t so great but they were busy. We paid our bill, added a very good tip and left. To our surprise 11 minutes later there were more charges placed on our credit card. We immediately called the manager who said she would look into it. 3 phone calls later it’s still up in the air. Obviously our server placed these charges which we didn’t make. Make sure you keep your receipt until your statement comes in so you can file a fraud charge if needed. I would not recommend going here due to this experience.
SOOOO excited that they were offering clams and oysters on the half shell!!! large plump oysters and fat clams, perfectly shucked and detached from the shell, we just dressed them in lemon juice only.....SUPER FRESH, SUPER DELICIOUS!!! we were So happy! we selected the crawfish etouffee over rice & a seafood platter. the etouffee was perfectly spiced with lots of crawfish tails, so delicious! the fisherman's platter was loaded with perfectly fried, crispy cod, big fat oysters and large shrimp, tons of fries & fresh cole slaw!! very happy!!! service was friendly and helpful, perfect night from start to finish.....this place has been here for years & it's easy to understand why........
Very good seafood restaurant and there other foods are good as well. Went here on date night with my wife and the service was great quick and friendly. The drinks were well priced and made well. Would recommend to anyone in the area.
You can find worse food, but it would be a challenge. So if you want good seafood look elsewhere. At the same time personnel was friendly and brought everything in finely manner. Also wait time more than 40 minutes nicely reduced to just 10.
