used to be a good place...now had to wave hands at bar to get attention of bartender. Ordered wings....two types..tossed and wet...got home...dry, neither order had any flavor..just dry and well done.........won't be back....
Get wings with some Frankenstein sauce, you wont be disappointed. Some of the best wings ever. The shrimp basket was good too but the wings....hot damn baby!!! And its a fun atmosphere with great service. Thats a rare accomplishment these days. Guys giving the whatup nod or saying hello and smiles from almost every lady there. These are the places you hope stay open forever. Until i visit again....

Stopped in for a beverage and a happy hour snack. Ordered pretzel bites for $8.50. We got 9 small PCs of pretzel that were very greasy. Had to ask for the cheese. When we asked if this was really the normal size of the order we were told that “ you know all prices are going up”. Will not be going for appetizers in the future. The last time we were there flat bread was very good.
Great atmosphere, could have been better service but that's not indicative of the restaurant. Food was good, pricing was fair. Of all the things we had would recommend the wings (insane sauce wasn't over the top and not too much vinegar as with most places) and peel n eat shrimp spicy (not spicy at all but good flavor). All in all will visit again.
Went there because a bunch of friends kept recommending it. The wings were noteworthy according to them. Its a place that you have to look for to find albeit, its on the main drag on the north causeway. The wife had the wings with Frankenstein sauce ( not hot even though its named after a monster) she loved them! i went for the seafood po' boy so big like 2 meals in 1.
This placed has a nice variety of foods nd everything has been good when we go. Glad we read TripAdvisor and find new places to eat.
The Frankenstein wings are great! The sauce is flavorful without being too hot. Other than that, can't say much good about our experience. The flatbread was good but the other meals that were ordered were just OK at best. The Margarita I ordered tasted like watered down bottled margarita mix and the service was practically non-existent. Needless to say, we won't be going back.
This place has so many great attributes. Its like the epitome of a perfect sports bar. Super well laid out inside with a large dining area with 4 and 6 person tables. There's a great hang out area with two pool tables and a few other games. No matter what mood your in there's a spot in this place to make you comfortable. The menu has some great stuff on it. I have been here several times now and order something different every time. Everything has been delicious and I mean not just for being bar food. Its honestly really good food in general even compared to higher priced restaurants. I have to say that the wings are probably at the top of the menu. They are stellar!Weather your at the bar or sitting down at the tables the service is always great. I have always had a positive experience here at Merk's. Cheers
