I’ve never had cake donuts that were as light as Donnie’s. It’s almost as if they baked them with pixie dust in the dough. The 12 million combinations possible with the donut bar is the only problem with this place. They didn’t have a box big enough to try them all, so we had to settle for half a dozen. Go here. Eat donuts. Be happy.
So yummy! The donuts are freshly made. There are many toppings available for everyone to be happy. Fast and friendly service. A definite must try!
There are 2 local Donnie's Donuts in my area. They offer Fresh made to order cake donuts. You will not find filled donuts here. Simple donuts are ordered as 'Vintage' donuts. A wide variety of specialty donuts are ordered as 'Modern' donuts. They are fluffy and delicious? The people are very friendly and helpful.I Highly recommend if you live in or visit the Daytona Beach area add Donnie's Donuts to Your must try list. Thank You for taking Your Time to read my Review? While on vacation, we like to get donuts a few mornings during our visit. Donnie's Donuts did not disappoint! We got a 3-pak and every single was was awesome. I felt the price was reasonable for a donut of this quality. We got there a little later in the morning, so some of the flavors had already sold out. The selection and variety was great. I really wish I would have gotten a few more, but it's probably better that I didn't. Great way to start the day.
The only thing better than the donuts we picked up at Donnie's Donuts, were the Great people helping us make decisions. Check out the Ormond beach location, definitely worth the trip!
Ok the Velvet Queen was so dang delicious! Very tasty, not overwhelmingly sweet and it's definitely giving my usual Wawa frozen caramel a run for it's money. And the donuts.....THE DONUTS!! So. Dang. Good. ???
Fast service and amazing donuts
The plain vanilla cake doughnut was the best I'd tasted in this area with the fried edges that melt-in-your mouth. Buttercream based frostings with delicious frostings topped the other donuts that made up the 9-pack that was purchased (fruity pebbles, german chocolate, and banana pudding rounded out the assortment).
It really is the sweetest little drive through in town. Staff is always friendly and the donuts are always whimsical (and yummy!). I grab a dozen for the office every once in a while and it always makes everyone’s day! I definitely recommend stopping there for a sweet treat when you’re looking for a unique donut. Their iced coffee is fabulous, too!
We tried the 4-pack and were not disappointed. Great cake donut base with toppings Can hardly wait until our next visit. Service was excellent.
