A Favorite Happy Place! Delicious thin crust Pizza, Fabulous Lobster Rolls and the BEST Gelato I've ever tasted! Also wonderful homemade Lobster Bisque and Clam Chowder. A charming atmosphere and wonderful staff! Even has a drive up window for the rainy afternoons. Al Fresco dining or cozy indoor seating. Truly a Favorite!
Ordered lobster bisque, clam chowder and two lobster rolls (one cold style and one warm style). The soups were both good but the lobster bisque had no chunks of lobster at all which is our favorite part. It had good flavor but lacked the larger pieces of lobster meat. The warm lobster roll was good but the cold lobster roll had an off flavor for some reason. Leaving two stars because the prices are very high for the food being just pretty good and the restaurant and outdoor area aren’t kept clean— we had to clean off our own table. We had such high hopes due to the reviews and for the price, we expected it to be better. Our bill was $80 and I do feel like we overpaid for no reason. So disappointed, we wanted to love this place!
The sign says Wood Fired Pizza and Maine Lobster Rolls! Just a small hole in the wall that serves good food. We enjoyed the Caesar salad and a deliicious pizza cooked in the wood fired oven. Nice staff.
What a fantastic little sandwich shop! The lobster roll was fantastic. We had one hot with drawn butter. We split it and we we already talking about getting another or stopping back. The corn chowder was delicious too. Everything was so fresh. The ceasar salad and blt were scrumptious too. My kids all had smoothies. The owner, employee, and brother were extraordinarily nice and friendly. Definitely recommend hitting this stop.
Have to say we had the perfect time, the food was hot, tasty, service out of this world, and the most perfect spot for lunch.
The grilled cheese lobster sandwich is awesome better then a roll and way more lobster
We got the Lobster Roll and the Lobster grilled cheese. Well worth the price and that's saying something as I was hesitant to pay that much for a lunch in a mom and pop place. I'm sure we will be back next time we are in New Smyrna.
The lobster roll came highly recommended but I thought it was awful. There was a lot of meat, but it was doused in Old Bay seasoning and gave me a container of mayo on the side. Not sure what I was supposed to do with that. Caesar salad was good though. And it came to $35 after tip. Huge waste of money
Great little spot in town. We tried the pizza and it was so crispy and delicious. The lobster bisque was really good too, but you can’t leave this place without trying the lobster roll! It is amazing! Definitely worth the price.
We visited on an unseasonably wet and cold day in the mid-afternoon. It was quiet and the staff were not very engaging. Counter as well was dirty. We shared the fire grilled meatball sandwich, which actually was delicious. The soup was mediocre. 3 stars because the overall experience was not what I expected from the name, reviews or even the menu. Perhaps it was an off day.
