We really liked Boston's especially the first 2 times we eat there. But the third time they had a new menu and the prices where up quite a bit.....sorry probably won't be back
This was my second time this season for this spot. I have been a customer for over 30 years starting at their original location in Winter Park, FL. It has been through several owners since moving to New Smyrna Beach each time going down hill. The lines used to be out the door with customers waiting for freshly fried seafood. When I saw the promo indicating original owners were back in charge I made my way back as soon as possible. Both times it seemed the food had been sitting under the heat lamp waiting to be picked up. In the past you could see in the open kitchen to a platoon of workers serving up the orders with servers delivering the product as soon as it made to the the pass. My scallops the tepid the first time with a plastic bottle of runny tartar sauce sitting on the table. The second time the shrimp were almost room temperature when they made it to the table 15 minutes after I placed my order. Baked bean side dish was good both times. The second time I had to ask for a fork for the cold slaw since there were no utensils provided except a spoon in the baked beans. I can’t recommend Boston’s any more.
Great food and great staff. I had the captains seafood combo platter and was amazed at the amount of food. I couldn't eat it all. All 5 of us were very peased with our meals. I would definitely eat here again.
My Wife and I went up there on Valentine's Day but before I made a reservation. We got there and we had a drink before our lunch came. We ordered a Captain's combo platter with sea scallops, jumbo shrimp, fish, fried clams with the bellies, french fries and onion rings. a lot of food for two people but we ate it all. We go there at least once a month, we're from Titusville. great service, great atmosphere. the fried clams comes from Ipswich Massachusetts, when we lived in Everett Mass, we used to go to Ipswich a place called The Clam box for clams with the big bellies. This restaurant has been serving NSB fir 20+ years, so they must be doing something right. Friendly crew and relaxed setting, it’s a good place to get seafood. Fish (Mahi Mahi) tacos are decent, but probably not worth the “market price” they charge. Clam chowder is excellent.
Went for lunch fish tacos we delicious. Couldn’t believe how much Mahi was in this taco. Food was good server friendly. Don’t go for the atmosphere there isn’t any.
