This was my first time going to the restaurant and I had no idea it was located in a plaza, which gave me hesitations, but once you walk in, all my worries went away. Traditional Mexican music was playing, and there is traditional artsy booths, and decor. The food was exquisite. Definitely authentic, flavorful, and very filling. I ordered the tamarindo Margarita and let’s just say that it was gone very quickly! If you are in the area and in the mood for homey, authentic Mexican food, this is the place. I was very impressed.

this place has changed so much since our last visit 2 years ago when we visited new smyrna beach, and not for the better...... place was busy, only 2 servers, who also were the bartenders, made service very slow. drinks are large and tasty, but mostly juice. we ordered the mocajete (sp?) and the combo plate. the mocajete was filled with grilled steak, shrimp, chorizo, & chicken. some rice and beans on the side, but the $31 price was not worth what was served, the combo plate was so plain, a chimichanga, but wan't fried, a burrito & a relleno. NO sour cream, NO lettuce, NO guacamole, etc. that you'd normally expect were absent. if you wanted any of those things that traditionally accompany a combo plate, you had to pay and extra $1 for sour cream & $6 for guac in addition to the $21 for the dinner......i normally don't complain about prices, but these seem to be on the high side for what was served. and service, there isn't any, the 2 women that were running the floor were doing exactly that, running around, trying to seat guest, take orders, make drinks, etc. think that this will be our last visit here.....disappointing

I feel sick. I ate there for the first time less than two hours ago and wished I didn’t. I wished I had listened to my gut instinct when I walked in. How has this restaurant been open for 15 years? It looked and smelled dirty and everything felt greasy. The bathroom stunk like a port-a-potty which made me nauseous. The young waitress was paying more attention to her child that was following her around than to the few patrons that were there. The chips were cold and stale, my order was wrong and my food was just okay. Nothing to write home about. But bad enough for me to write this review to say I would stay away from this place if I were you. Hopefully I will survive this day.

This place hustles and makes amazing food. Nothing negative to say whatsoever. Mixed drinks are good and strong and of course you have taco Tuesday specials.

Food and service is good. But, Over $53 for Queso and chips w/meat. 2 beef Alicart quesadillas " no rice or beans ". And a side of rice. Is Fkn outrageous. This was just takeout. I could get a sht load of food from Taco Bell for that. Hell I can get steak dinner from Texas Roadhouse for that... This is not a high class restaurant, to have prices like that. But I do have to say on a positive note that the food is delicious and the service is great.

We had eaten here several times in the past. Average Mexican fare, but friends seemed to like it. This time we went by ourselves. New menu, same mediocre food, poor service, and prices that were far too expensive. Fajitas at $26. A one-taco dinner for $13. Ridiculous prices.

We had a delicious vegan lunch here. While they don’t have vegan items on the menu, they were happy to accommodate us by “veganizing” regular menu items. Great service, pleasant outdoor seating. Highly recommended.

This place is just okay. Chips were cold and very overpriced. Came for Taco Tuesday, sour cream not included an up charge of $3, pushed to order a drink after I wanted water and was told it was included in Taco Tuesday deal. It ended up being an extra $4. Food was very bland, Taco Tuesday is $10.99 no drink or sour cream included so don’t order be under the impression it will. Mop full of bathroom cleaner next to our table made the whole place smell of chemicals. Not impressed at all and don’t believe I’ll be back for the price.

The place was packed and they only had 2 servers but they killed it. They stayed positive and smiling even while dealing with a few Karen's who thought they should be served first. Food was excellent. I a thought the prices were a touch high until I saw the amount of food. Really great experience all around.

Losing it’s edge for sure. I used to love this place and lately it has really been letting me down. Most recently I ordered a largeish order (almost $100) with them for my birthday for takeout. They messed up 2/4 orders, were pretty rude when I picked up, and forgot $10 worth of my items… I wish It was half as good as it used to be.
