My favorite of the items I ordered were the appitizer platter you could choose from 8 items such as mozzarella sticks, loaded potato skins, spinach dip, onion rings, chicken strips, egg rolls and jalapeño poppers which are a pretty good selection. But overall I like the food the fish was crispy and so were the fries. I wasn't a huge fan of the scmpi but that's was just a personal preference for me. Our server was above phenomenal she was quick and very friendly. My kids loved her. They also had chopsticks which was an added plus, my kids use chopsticks everywhere we eat. I love that they were able to seat 9 easily. There were plenty of seating inside, outside, upstairs and downstairs. Overall the food was good, I've had better.
The food was good and they have a nice location on the waterway. Serving staff was pleasant also. When we called to see if reservations were necessary we got a story about then being very busy between 5 and 7pm. Most restaurants are busy on a Saturday at dinner time. When we arrived, there were only 3 tables filled in a large place. This is why they only get 3 stars. Didn't seem to be truthful. Food was good though and lots of choices!
This a wonderful restaurant and bar situated on the water. That you can come by boat or by car to experience the great tasting food and share the comradery of friends for a drink in multiple bars on site. This is indeed was a comfortable setting for friends and families to enjoy. The servers are pleasant and helpful for all you dining needs. I really enjoy the view of the water front while dining inside or outside. Next time I will come by boat.
1st time at Widow Fletchers. Had the Biscayne Bay seafood platter. It was great, alot of food. Great service. The view is awesome, Dolphins !!! Highly recommend. The French onion soup was also great ?
We enjoyed Valentines Day here. The food was good and the service was excellent. Drinks were made well and very reasonable.
Big place on the water. Seemed to be very busy. There was seven of us and all of us really enjoyed our meal. Waitress made sure everything was ok. We will definitely will return.
Called earlier and made reservation for a birthday party only to be told when we arrived that we would have to wait 1 and a half hours. Manager argued that staff would not make a mistake and make a reservation on the weekend. We ended up being almost the very last people to be seated and the place was almost completely empty and still was served cold food. No apology except from the male waiter which was trying very hard.
I've been here more than once and the food is always fantastic. The service is always on point also with plenty of TVs to watch if you like or just be off in room on your own.
We like to eat fresh seafood on Fridays so we decided to try Widow Fletcher's since it's not far from our home. It wasn't crowed at all but we sat outside on the patio. Our server seemed to be in a hurry all the time, so I think that's why our order was incorrect. We ordered the southwest egg rolls as an appetizer, these were tasty. My husband ordered the seafood combo and he asked that it be fried. The server didn't give any options for sides but when he returned with drinks my husband asked for a baked potato instead of yellow rice and black beans. I ordered sea scallops and asked for them to be blackened. Now, when our food came out, my husband had a small piece of fish and a small dish with shrimp in a butter sauce ,rice and beans. His food was not fried as he had asked, and his food was not hot. Server did also bring out broccoli and a baked potato. My scallops were in a butter sauce but not blacked as I had asked. My server asked if I wanted some blackened spice so he brought that out. My rice and my beans was cold. We feel very disappointed with our meal and that we had poor service. Our server did not listen because he was rushing so much. The food is overpriced .We did enjoy sitting out on the water and listening to the band that was there.
This was a good place and popular place to eat. The waiter was very good and the food was delicious.
