The food here was the best Mexican that we've had since our last trip to Mexico. The menu was extensive filled with fare that will make any set of taste buds scream for more. Service was spot on and friendly! Way to go!
A REAL taste of Mexican cuisine. Had the Huevos Rancheros and my wife had the Enchiladas. The sauce had the right amount of heat without taking away the flavor. We were eating from each other's plate as we were really reminded of eating in Mexico. From now on this will be my go to for Mexican food.
Very very disappointed!!! No seasoning, no flavor!Nickle and dime you for ingredients like cheese and jalapeños. Really?Xtra ground beef...$6. What a joke! Beans had no seasoning and had to fix them up with ingredients from my own food and salt n pepper. And the salsa... I KNOW it was NOT homemade, it was Pace or something cheap. Just hated it! I could have made a better mexican meal at home myself. What a shame because the staff was nice. They won't last long.
Ok, disclaimer.. I REALLY dislike knocking a restaurant for an employee not being particularly chipper. However it IS the service industry & this IS a review so I'll at least mention it. The person who took my to-go order was either not particularly "chipper" enough (for me?), or was having a bad day, or was a quiet, low key service professional, or..?? (My guess? #3!) NOW, let's get to the goo-, make that the GREAT stuff! The food! Mexico City at it's finest, or so I was told by a former resident & although I've not had the pleasure of visiting, I do not doubt him, as the food was excelente! I had simple fare, (I am on a tight budget) but I was still able to get 2 tacos, 1 pork, or carnitas, (which is usually deep fried pork shoulder) and 1 spiced sausage or chorizo, (made in house I was informed by the low key, quiet but pro server/cashier!) with an awesome red sauce, the name of which escapes me, all for $5 & change + a (to go) tip! Oh and I added (asadero?) cheese to each taco for 0.30¢ each. It only had the meat & cheese on it so I guess it typically only comes packed w/ meat (I thought there'd be some veggies but this is not taco- Well.. I forgot to ask so Idk if it's extra!) on a small tortilla. Looking back I should have gotten the 3 tacos w/ your choice of meat (there were at least 4-5, including ground beef, but also bistec, or steak if I remember correctly) w/ rice & beans for $8.99! Well, I'll rectify that mistake tomorrow as I'm absolutely craving it again!
Went for dinner in this quaint little restaurant in a mall Food was outstanding everything piping hot and made to order but more importantly all homemade From tortilla chips, to sauces to rice to refried beans. Nothing canned all freshly made We had the fajitas, quesadillas and combo plates along with moles All outstanding a must try for the area
I would give this place 10 out 5 stars! Friendly staff, absolutely amazing food! Like anywhere else they are having a tough time with staffing. I can be patient for fresh fantastic food! Our service was prompt and courteous, food arrived faster than anticipated. Flavor was amazing, initially i was disappointed that they only had fried breakfast tacos. But the alameda omelet with corn tortillas on the side with a touch of red sauce made amazing breakfast tacos!
Went here on a date when it was slow and it left some to desire. The service was just barely existent. Our waitress was more interested in flirting with a group of guys in the other table than servicing us. We’ve also had take out front his place and they forgot part of our meal. The food is really good but probably won’t be back.
Waitress seemed like she did not want to be bothered. We came in on a Friday night and it was empty, we were greeted by “oh you’re dining in?” And we said yes. She said “sit anywhere”. We sit down and she asks for our drinks, me and my husband said our drinks and she quickly walked away and didn’t even get my sons drink order because she was in such a hurry to get away. I’m giving three stars because our food was really good, the service was just pretty bad..
It a very nice restaurant to eat. The workers were very nice, and the food was very good. I would recommend anyone who love mexican food to eat here.
Person taking phone order was clearly irritated, must have been a bad day for her. Never actually got food. Said she was required to ask if I have ever had their mole sauce before and when I said no she said she needed me to pay over the phone because it was a large order, two nachos, a burrito and a special mole ribs doesn't seem like a large order to me.
