New Port Richey roll is my fav roll, a little pricey, but well worth it!
When we arrived the person that seated us seemed very bored. Then our waitress took our order her service was very slow. But when the cook came out it was awesome very good food! As we left the young staff seemed to self absorbed to thank us for coming in or wish us a good evening. I highly recommend the food if you can get past the teenage staff that really doesn't care
My first time here, noodles were cold after being cooked. Then I was the only person who ordered chicken but the cook gave it to other people, forgot my steak so while everyone else had there food I was still waiting for mine to be cooked. My boyfriend got steak and calamari, had a total of 8 pieces of steak. Definitely not worth it, Ton Bo is way better. Then we were charged a $11.67 service fee. Paid $75 for mediocre food. Will not be going back.
This place is ridiculous. I spent $40 on their overpriced octopus sushi and something was definitely wrong with it. I noticed right away that the octopus was warm and smelled extra fishy. The last ones I got were fine, so I just reasoned with myself that it would be okay to eat. But it absolutely was NOT okay. I ate some of it and felt so nauseous and sick the rest of the day. Then I was up all night with bloody diarrhea. Like heavy blood. I am still having problems right now and I am considering reporting this to the health department.
So we have been a couple times, so far it's been grwat. We have gone for simple sushi dinner to party of 8 for hibachi. The service is good, the presentation is lovely. Hibachi is great, lobster, shrimp, filet, chicken doesn't matter it was all great. The chefs rock, Mia was the server and that girl could hustle. We will go back and have no issues so far.For most of the sushi in this area this is one of the better spots. Decent prices and fun cooks. It's worth checking out. Ask for Mia.
We order/eat from here a lot. Never had an issue. Tonight we ordered through Uber eats and not only was the tuna sashimi rotten and smelled, there was a staple laying in my soup. We love it here but this is unacceptable.
Very nice staff and food was excellent
Our family of 6 went to have dinner at Kawa. Our waitress took her time getting to our table to get our drink orders while we waited for one other to join us. She returned when our other party joined and took her drink order. Our drinks were served (5 of them but not the one ordered by the late arrival) and our orders taken. The appetizers arrived but we had to ask several times to get eel sauce and more napkins. The appetizers were finished and dirty dishes accumulated and we still did not have our food. The last drink was still not served. We waited and finally had to ask where our food was. It wasn't very busy so there was no reason the kitchen should have been backed up. The waitress was annoyed that we questioned this and went to get our soup and salads. Still no drink for the last person but water was brought. Food came and a couple of adjustments needed to be made (one came without being wrapped in rice paper as requested and another wasn't as the person ordered) Again, the waitress was a bit annoyed but went to get the items corrected. The drink was still not served even after we questioned where it was. Again we waited quite some time for food and the other guests were finished with their dinners before the corrections came out. Still no drink. We asked again where the drink was, the excuse was "we have a new bar tender" The drink arrived as dishes were being cleared from the table. Then came the shocker. The menu stated 18% gratuity will be added to the bill. When our bill arrived we were charged 20%. The person who paid the bill wanted the gratuity to be reduced beyond the 18% as the service was so bad. The manager was only willing to reduce it to the 18%, Again they offered to pay the full meal charges but did not wish to give this server18% for lousy service. The manager got angry and said they would call the cops. The payer said go ahead and call them. I will leave a tip but not the 18% she did not earn that. The food was just ok nothing spectacular and that was not the issue. The issue was the horrible service and attitudes. Waited another 20 minutes for the cops to arrive. While waiting the waitress was stomping through the restaurant having a fit, shouting and crying because we said her service was bad. Then another couple (only two people) had said their bill also was charged 20% and that was for only two people not a party of 6 or more. They also had bad service. There was nothing the police would do as they could not order the manager to change the bill. The manager wasn't budging and was being very difficult and snide. No cooperation from him at all. Not wishing to cause a greater scene, we just paid the bill with the 18% and left vowing never to return. The waitress clearly knew she would get at least 18%, if not the 20% originally charged so she didn't have to care about the quality of her service and it truly showed. I will never grace their doors again. I refuse to pay for poor service with a lousy attitude AND, even more so, when I am being ripped off.
Our first time there, Brad, our server, was amazing. The food is awesome, great drinks and wonderful service. I highly recommend!
45 minutes from seated until the cook came to the table, but it was a busy Saturday night... Decent hibachi, they definitely use alot of pepper in the rice so prepare for that. Steak, salmon and shrimp were delicious. Will go back when I visit
