We went to dinner with friends a Anthony’s Italian Restaurant on 6/23/2022. We had a lovely dinner the server was great and she went above and beyond boxing our leftovers. The next day I heated my leftovers which was stuffed eggplant and sausage with marinara sauce.As I was eating the sausage, As I bit down on the sausage there was a crunch. I pulled out black hard crushed material. I thought it was some of the edges of the black edges of the eggplant. So I took another bite and the same thing but only larger pieces. They were black on one side and iridescent in color. I called the restaurant to let them know what I found so they could make sure they weren’t serving the sausage before they examined first. The lady I spoke was either the manager or owner said, they weren’t responsible for the food once it left the restaurant. I told her I wasn’t looking for a free meal or I wasn’t going to sue them I just wanted to let them know what was in the sausage. She said they didn’t make the sausage they bought for a local company. I said that doesn’t matter you should be concerned for your customers health. You know if the glass cut them they could sue you. She said they weren’t responsible for the sausage because they bought it from someone else. I told her whatever, I’ve warned her and hung up. That lady was on the defensive and was so rude. So all that being said she not only lost us as a customer but we have warned all our friends not to go to this restaurant.
Ordered (2) pizza’s delivered. Both had hardly any sauce, overly chewy dough and cheese (globs). Burned crust. Returned pizza’s, minus (2) slices from each pizza to the restaurant. Server at the counter just looked at the pizza after being told what the issue was, but made no form of reply. I told that she could have the pizza’s back and left the premises. The original owners were fantastic and the restaurant was always packed. Now it’s a ghost town. They just lost my business, that of my family, family friends and my business orders. Some form of reply would have been nice. No reply just cost your business 20+ customers.
The food was good, however the service was not. They were not crowded, but every table that came in after us was served and we still didn't have our food. As it turned out, the waitress forgot to put our order in. Meanwhile, behind the counter was a young woman with beautiful long and thick hair. She unclipped it and fluffed out her hair and shook her hair 3 different times. Unsanitary and disgusting. Also had to wait for boxes and check. Other than an "I'm sorry" it could have been handled a bit better. I would not go back.
$50 Order was delivered two hours late and restaurant would offer only a $20 credit towards future purchase. Worst delivery and service ever. Will never use this restaurant ever again for myself or my office!
Awful watery Margherita pizza. Not sure why a slicer type tomato was used on this. Should definitely be using Romas. Don’t worry though, as I anticipated this watery mess would come, and I fixed it. Guys cmon please use better quality tomatoes. I roasted and seasoned mine. Used Flavorgods Pizza seasoning and light sugar on them. I showed photos of the original pizza. The liquid I had to dab off, and the end result with the bad tomatoes off and good tomatoes on.Bumped it up to 2 stars because the crust is actually fantastic...Really great pizza crust of all things. I'll give you guys another shot down the road I think. Different pizza though.

First time orderer- the pizza was fantastic. New York style crust was perfectly crisp yet soft, toppings were fresh. I did pepperoni, green peppers and red onion. Perfect proportions per slice. Exactly what I was hoping for - delicious NY style pizza.The Caesar salad was large and full of fresh Asiago cheese curls, crisp leafy romaine and yummy croutons. Excellent all around!Looking forward to ordering more from the vast menu.Delivery direct through the restaurant- no need for additional apps to get good food.
