Ok..honest review time! So this was our like 8th recent order from Amici's. AMAZING PIZZA! Another awesome order! Got a few large pizza's. Great sauce, great crust, great cheese, great toppings.. GREAT PIE! The delivery was great too! Very consistent pizza... its NEVER good one week, and then, eh, not so good the next week. Its spot on every single time! It shows they truely care about their pizza's. So yeah, give them a try! And if you like extra sauce (im tellin ya its excellent) ask for it - a total game changer! Will be back soon! Nice job Amici's! A++++
To meet with the owner to discuss a situation that I felt needed to be addressed. I live in a 55+ community, 20 mph, without sidewalks. I was walking with a neighbor, with a walker when one of their delivery drivers came speeding, I motioned for him to slow down, he yelled out the window to F.. off. After the meeting, her response combined, he's a good kid, I'll talk to him & " she doesn't know who to believe '! That to me was huge insult I never in my life expected an owner to respond in such a manner. I took the time to call, make an appointment, to talk to her face to face. If she felt that way, I wouldn't of expected to hear her say it. I'm sorry to be so negative, but I feel an issue of safety was something that needed to be addressed. Sincerely, Donna
I have received bad food from you in the past but today takes the cake! Soggy fries and chicken tenders. So bad I could pour water from the container. The sausage peppers and onions were unrecognizable! With a burned roll. I personally will NEVER order from you again! The other person living here can do what he wants.
We ordered cheese sticks and instead got garlic knotts. Also as you see in the picture the cheese got stuck on the top of the box. There was no platic spacer to prevent this. The pizza was cold upon delivery. The customer pays more now a days. Quality needs to step it up! This was just 1 example. There have been previous issues but we decided not to say anything. It's become to much now!
It took an hr & a half for someone to deliver my order. The pizza was cold. The garlic knots were cold & mushy. The inside was under cooked. The two sandwiches I ordered were cold & soggy. The bread was burnt. My chicken was in one big clump & dry. Very dissatisfied!!!!!
I live a block away from this place and always wondering about this place when shopping in Publix! Today I decided to give it a try ! Saturday night football playoffs is going to be perfect excuse for pizza!! Man this pizza just terribleOnions/mushrooms/green peppers.I think they keep those veggies in water(they don't drain the veggiesThe pizza was wet I can even can keep the slice straight! So bad experienceMaybe a new employee?or someone that doesn't give [email protected] back to Marco pizzaOther thing NO ONE USES GLOVES
The gyro had more tomato and onion then it had meat. The gyro meat was atrocious.the fries were crispy on the outside but half thaw on the inside. Never again, you blew your one chance!!!
If you’re new and haven’t ordered from them, this is the review you want to read. The place is extremely unsanitary (not just the restaurant but how the employees handle the food), the employees are extremely rude, and they do not check the pizzas to ensure the order is correct. I will not be ordering from them again. One employee decided to take it upon himself to take my phone number out of the system (WITHOUT PERMISSION) and text me at all hours. So your personal information isn’t even safe. I understand it’s a small restaurant and it can get busy, but it doesn’t excuse the behavior that comes from the employees. Also don’t bother talking to the owner if you also have a bad experience. I told them about my personal information being taken out of the system along with what’s gone on and they couldn’t have cared less. Their solution is to debate with you why you’re wrong. I’m actually very surprised they are still in business. As for the flavor of the pizza- if you like greasy, burnt food that may have been dropped on the floor, this is the place for you. To be honest, I hope you don’t have the same experience I had if you go there. The business is somewhat redeemable, but it will take MANY MANY MANY changes and a staff with better attitudes.
Ok. It's my fault for waiting so long. Taste-wise, I've only disliked their wings and knots for being a bit under cooked. The cheese they use is too oily & cheap but the food generally edible most days. I might've placed another critical review of this local pizza place years ago. Back then it was pre-covid. I just go to pick up food for a friend. I'm going to just pay by phone ask for them to hand it to me outside. It's the safest thing to do. Before covid, I basically didn't like that I saw then on several occasions not wash their hands when going from touching money or a broom to touching food (pizza gets cooked but salad doesn't). For a long time I thought, I just won't order any raw food from them but by the time I wrote the review I should've include other flagrant health department violations like wearing open toed shoes in a kitchen with knives or sharp utensils... I didn't like how the female staff all wore the tightest clothes possible as if they were the pizza version of Hooters but that wasn't horrible just weird. In the covid times going in Amici II & feeling safe doing so is impossible! The place is a 'bottleneck'. To be fair that's just the way the place is constructed. To make matters worse trying to keep social distancing & wearing a mask is about as welcomed as an extraterrestrial! This is just to show how unwelcome I feel going to this neighborhood eatery.
We finally found a Authentic Italian Pizza place it was so mouth watering delicious!!! The employees were very nice and accommodating so we dined in. Thanks for having us ?
