Location and ambience are great; service is very good. Unless you are inordinately fond of sugar, do NOT order anything that is designated as a "Chef's Special." This probably would have been a much better experience if we had just ordered regular menu items. We had an Asian- inspired seafood dish (a special) which I can only describe as candied seafood. Properly cooked to the right degree of doneness, but so sweet it makes your skin crawl. Prices are high but that's to be expected in a major restaurant in the heart of Naples. But be sure and ask about the level of sweetness in the dishes you're contemplating. You may be in for a shock.
When we arrived to Veranda E Beyond Cuisine on 5th Ave, the hostess asked if my dog would be joining us for dinner and I said yes. She then informed us that the resort had a very strict no pet or children policy and therefore not allowed to sit in the dining room, where our reservations were for. I informed her that Lili was not a pet and was in fact a service dog. to which the hostess responded "it doesn't matter". I informed her of the ADA laws and that it is federal law to grant me access, she shrugged and said "yea we don't follow it". They knowingly are breaking federal law and discriminating against disabled individuals. I was horrified and shocked that this led to me having a panic attack, in which my service dog had to task for me. This is completely unacceptable.
What I had hoped would be a lovely birthday dinner for my wife turned into a fly biting mess. Once our main course was served, we were swarmed by flies. We talked to the waiter who said he could do nothing. We talked to the manager who did nothing. I've written the restaurant and they have done nothing. This turned into a very expensive night with a very disappointed wife. Stay away from this place they don't know how to take care of customers..
We visited Veranda E while visiting Naples. A couple we met suggested this restaurant and I was absolutely blown away by the entire experience. Our waiter, Francesco, was phenomenal and was extremely attentive, and provided exceptional service. The food was to die for, the Kung Pao calamari was divine, and I’m not even a calamari fan. We were the last to leave this beautiful dining haven and the service was consistent until the time we walked out of the front door. 11/10 recommend. We will be back each and every time we visit Florida.
Disappointing Not handicapped accessible—staff was unhelpful. Dropped a tiny ramp and ran away. 2 elderly women pulled my chair up. No handicapped parking Lobster appetizer on menu not available. Server was MIA most of the mail. Won’t be back.
This beer and wine only restaurant had only two selections of beer and it was served warm. The wait staff was clueless and somewhat argumentative with our table. The setting is beautiful and the food excellent, Do not go on a rainy night as they have no way to rearrange the tables to accommodate those that have reserved outside tables. Rainy nights can be a crowded mess.
Had heard many reviews and recommendations for a romantic setting with great food so we chose this restaurant for our wedding anniversary. The hostess did wish us a Happy Anniversary but sat us at a very small table by the doors away from everyone. As it was pretty full we thought okay it will be nice to have our own space. As for the food....my husband had the grouper ( house specialty) was very dry and he didn't eat half of it. I ordered the Sea Bass which the waitress highly recommend...it was cold inside and the spring veggies it came on where pea pods with all the ends still on not a nice looking or tasting plate....she took just the fish back to kitchen they heated it up and returned it ..she did take it off bill without us asking but we will not be back. Very disappointing nothing special
Veranda E offers an inviting and secluded outdoor dining space with a creative menu and fine execution. Beware that the outdoor space offers limited protection from the elements should inclement weather intrude.
Excellent food & service coupled with incredible ambience. A true feast for the senses at all levels. I absolutely guarantee you'll enjoy your visit.
Excellent food plus superb service makes Veranda E the " must visit" restaurant when in Naples!
