I stopped by for a quick bite and ended up trying a bunch of menu items. The highlight of my meal was the appetizer tostones and the lecheon pork. I think its the first time in a while i have cuban food this good
Everything we had tonight was absolutely delicious, we followed our waiter’s recommendations and they didn’t disappoint. We have to return and try some more of their appealing menu
My fiancé and I are from Chicago and we were told to come eat here and we were not mislead! The Cuban sandwich was soooo tasty! Great food, service and environment! Definitely would come back!
I had a big Cuban sandwich and hot croquetas dipped in hot sauce. I enjoyed the Cuban music too inside. I think it is LGBTQ+ friendly too ?️??️⚧️

This was my first time to the #2 TripAdvisor rated restaurant in Naples. I was surprised that no one seemed to have heard of it, at least that was the case with the staff at the Ritz-Carlton. It is located on the north side of Route 41 in a small strip mall. The interior is nice, however small with only 8-10 tables and a four-seat bar. We were quickly greeted upon arrival by their Jefa, who also waited on us. Our order included a Mojito ($10), Tostones Rellenos (6 / $18) - Stuffed green plantains cups served with beef & topped with homemade cheese sauce, Croquetas Van Van (4 / $9) – Homemade, ham lightly breaded and fried until golden brown, Lechon Asado ($24) - slow roasted pulled pork marinated in Mojo sauce with moros and sweet plantains, Pollo a la Cubana ($25) - succulent marinated half chicken roasted, flash fried to seal in flavor and create crispiness, then rapidly grilled and basted in Mojo sauce with a side salad and sweet plantains, and flan ($8). What I liked: - Service was very attentive and informative - The Mojito was one of the better ones I have had recently - The Tostones Rellenos were outstanding - The Croquetas Van Van were very good - The Lechon Asado was very good. A fair price for the quality and smaller portion. - The flan was excellent. Some Spanish flans tend have a consistency like Jell-O, where the Cuban flan is creamier. What I Did Not Like: - There were no table cloths or linen napkins which would have taken the place up a notch. They do show their meals on the website sitting on table cloths so it might be a cost savings thing. - The Pollo a la Cubana was dry and was a very small, especially for the price point, It looked like half of a scrawny 2 pound whole chicken at best. I had several better meals in Naples during the week and this was not in my Top 5 however, if you like Cuban food, I would recommend you go there. I did distribute their business cards at the Ritz-Carlton.
I am not Cuban, but i have been to many cuban restaurants in Miami and Tampa and i can definitely tell this is by far the best cuban food i have found in florida. The roasted pork is on another level, so moist with a crispy outer layer. Its delightful, as well as the moros rice. It was the best
We are a Cuban family living in California and we came on vacation to visit Naples, we decided to have dinner at Van Van Cuban Cafe to try their food. We were fascinated, the typical Cuban food, it looks like food from grandma's house, we loved it, as well as the drinks, very well prepared. Myriel was very attentive and provided us with high quality service. It was a wonderful experience, and we will surely return. Somos una familia cubana viviendo en California y vinimos de vacaciones a visitar Naples, decidimos cenar en Van Van Cuban Cafe para probar su comida. Quedamos fascinados, la comida típica cubana, parece comida de casa de la abuela, nos encantó, al igual que las bebidas, muy bien preparadas. Myriel fue muy atento y nos brindó un servicio de alta calidad. Fue una experiencia maravillosa, y seguro que volveremos.
What a gem. Service was top notch and the food was out of this world. One of the best restaurants I have found in a long time. I can’t wait to go back!
This will not be the last time eating at this excellent restaurant. We just had dinner at van van and the whole family thought the food and service were outstanding. We will continue to come back at often
