Four people, one appetizer, an entree each and two drinks each. Total $600. A glass of wine $37, a hamburger $25, 4 scallops on a cup of rice $38. The Naples Effect. Charging the misguided outrageous prices because this is Naples. Not Monaco but Naples. After many years of enjoying this venue we will not be returning again. Nor the sister restaurant The Turtle Club where salads now cost $26. This is not inflation, this is unparalleled greed. Your money can be spent much better elsewhere.

Fantastic for what is promoted as an upscale restaurant. The food was excellent from start to finish, and the service reminded me of a cruise ship. They were constantly clearing plates as you finished. The food is pricey, but the money is worth it. It can get noisy. It says smart casual, but the men were wearing shorts and polos.

Our return visit provided us with a beautiful view of the bay, upper level seating in the dining area, a delicious dinner with good service and valet parking. The only down side was the noise factor. It lessened as the evening got later with many diners finishing and leaving the restaurant.

We made reservations for a table on the water but it was raining so they found a place for us indoors. They had live music playing which would have been nice but it was so I’m incredibly loud that dinner conversation was not even an option. To communicate with our waiter we had to literally shout at each other. The food was good. Watermelon poke was phenomenal! I got the “try all 3”option for an appetizer. The cornbread was good but not worth $10 for the chunk & the honey butter was bland. No bread or dinner rolls were served with dinner which we felt was a rip off considering the prices of the meals.Alex, our waiter was hands down the highlight of the evening. He was very friendly, personable and did a nice job helping us make selections. I am not sure I would return even if we lived in the area. Definitely not if there was live music again. The loudest dinner spot I have ever been to.

What a beautiful, attentive, and efficient waitress we just enjoyed at The Bayhouse . Tomi Jo , No where else have we had a more experienced and friendly waiter. Thanks so much for your wonderful service. The burger , lobster , stew , oysters, seafood blt , were delicious!! Never ran out of tea, water , and smiles . Can’t wait to get back and hope Tomi Jo is still there .

we are on a cross country trip, and the Bay House is the best place we have eaten. The St. Augustine stew was a perfect blend of sea food and spices. Best of all, our server, Ms Lori, is easily the top server in America. She was always there when we had a question, yet never hovering. The Bay House is certainly #1 in SW Florida.

My wife and I made a 7pm reservation. We got to the restaurant at 645. The hostess was a little short with us and said that our table was not ready so we went in to sit at the bar and have a drink. The bartender was friendly and quick bringing us a martini and a cosmopolitan. The band playing was entertaining and quite good. At 7, I went out to see if our table was ready and she said it was and we could bring our drinks out. I said that our reservation was for the side with the water. She again seemed short with me and said it was for the garden area. Disappointed, we sat in the garden area. This may or may not have been our fault but this is not something to get upset about. Our waiter was nice. A little rushed. My wife had the Seafood Pan Roast and said she enjoyed it. I ordered the King Scallops. It was ok. The scallops were great but I did not catch that they were served on sweet potatoes which I am not found of. That was my fault not theirs. For desert we had some Beignets. Amazing little treat Overall, the food was good…the service was ok…the hostess not very friendly. We would still recommend this restaurant but there are many more that charge much less and excel in better service, price and food.

3rd dinner here and in total 4+ star rating. 1st visit was very good. 2nd very average and this week it was exceptional. We strongly recommend the small tower as starter for at least 4 persons. This was great!!!

My husband & I visited The Bay House for the first time. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary with another couple. We had a reservation & were seated promptly upon arrival. We were greeted by Toni Jo, who would be our waitress. She was friendly, personable, efficient & attentive throughout our stay. Our appetizers & drinks were perfection. Salads were fresh & pretty. Our entrees were hot & the food was presented well. When they discovered it was our anniversary, they brought us glasses of champagne to help us celebrate. And we received a small gift for our anniversary. What a pleasant surprise! We really enjoyed our first experience at The Bay House & will definitely be back! What a wonderful place!

Impressed by several things. We were seated promptly at reservation time on a very busy evening with excellent service by our waiter, Gerardo. There are several eating options to fit your desire. We chose the dining room due to availability and is lovely, however, we are a lively group and outdoor or Tavern would’ve been a better option for us. The chef surprised us with a serving of broccoli cheddar soup following our appetizers that included the pimento cheese with crackers and cornbread. All three were delicious. The manager, Taryn, took time to visit our table making sure that our group were satisfied with service and food. The flounder special and pan seared grouper that is pictured were excellent. However, the roasted black cod entree was the winner and highly recommend it to the fish enthusiast! Topping off an amazing dinner we ordered coffee, ice cream sundae and key lime cobbler. Again, it was delicious! Enjoyed live music in the Tavern and the bartender did excellent serving us, as well. A wonderful evening with friends.
