Great BBQ. Fried pickles were very tasty with a cilantro ranch dip. I had a sandwich with Texas toast that was delicious. The fresh cut fries were over cooked and the coke slaw was okay. I’ve had better. Our server was very nice. The manager on duty made her rounds and made a point to talk to us. My hubby had the two meat dinner. The sausage was amazing and he liked the brisket.
We go to Texas Tony's &/or get carryout several times a year and always like it. Their food is good & the restaurant service is always great (even post-covid when service has suffered at many places.) And the beer is always very cold, too, which is a big plus. However I was a bit irritated when we got carryout last wk. I waited a week to post a review cuz I didn't want to post a bad review over something silly. Last week when we got carryout I got the Sloppy Tony (which is what I get probably 3 out of 5 times.) It's very yummy, but the Texas toast pieces were not matched appropriately for a sandwich. One piece of bread was literally half the size of the other. So it wasn't possible to eat the sandwich as intended. I had to cut the larger (bottom) piece in half and use the small top piece with the half of the bottom piece. The other half of the bottom piece of the sandwich I had to eat "topless." Like I said, I was irritated cuz it's something that shouldn't happen, and I'm sure it wouldn't have been served that way if we are in the restaurant vs getting carryout. It was still good, though. I've never had bad food from Texas Tony's. I guess they were just helping me cut back on the carbs. ???

Great BBQ place! Every time I come visit we end up eating here. However, last time I was there in 2016, we got together with my son and his wife and the rest of the younger siblings, was the last time I would ever see him again. So it was a bit rough coming back finally 4 years later, also on a Sunday. Father's day. Having to eat the BBQ here again, helped ease my anxiety of coming back.Keep up the great work!! I had the three meat combo with 1/4 of a chicken, brisket, and 1/3 rack of baby backs. The brisket was three thin slices , a little fatty. Ribs were ok but very small , and the 1/4 chicken was half a breast and half a wing without the drumstick. I understand things are tough but if you have to raise prices to make ends meet, maybe that’s better than me feeling like I just got ripped! BBQ chicken was barley warm room temp at best We have eaten there a few years ago and was great,,, but we won’t be going back
We had an excellent meal at Tony's earlier this evening. A family of four. We kicked off by sharing a plate of Nachos. It was vert tasty The Bbq was excellent The ribs beautifully cooked. BBQ Jalapeño cheddar sausage. Excellent Thoroughly enjoyed our meals. All round great food rounds
We have been vacationing at Marco once a year for about six years, and we always make it a point to eat at Texas Tony's in Naples at least twice in the one week we are there. The service and the food has always been amazing, that is until this year. The first time we went on Sunday the 5/15/22 around 7:45 the hostess, a middle aged woman with glasses and brown hair, was not pleasant at all (we have never met anyone there who was not stellar until this visit). We asked if we could sit in the enclosed patio and she said probably not, because they had a large party in there and offered us a high top table. I have a bad hip, so it is hard for me to get up and down off of the higher chairs, so I asked if we could sit at a regular table (the hostess seemed very put off by the request and seated us somewhere else). A very nice younger blonde waitress took our order and we got our food quickly. However, after we got our food, from another server, we never saw her again. It was getting very late and you could tell everyone was trying to get their closing cleanup done. We saw several severs in the back eating, standing around and talking but no one would come wait on us (by this time most of the customers had left). We saw our original server waiting on the large group on the patio area where we were told we couldn't sit. By this time, about 45 minutes have passed, I flagged someone else as they ran past us, not making eye contact, and asked if we could get our server, he said sure and was gone. About 5 minutes later the grumpy hostess, who sat us, come over and asked what we wanted, so my husband told her he wanted a piece of pie and she said she would get it. We never got the pie. So I flagged someone else down and asked if we could just get our check, which he brought out to us. The check had the pie on it that we never got, but the server who dropped it off left so quickly we didn't get to tell him. Finally, our original server came over, mind you the restaurant is empty now except one other table. I asked her if she could please take the pie off of the check, because we never got it. I felt so bad for her, you could tell she was genuinely upset, she was very apologetic, and she said she was told we got the pie and she said the other severs were supposed to be serving us while she was taking care of the large party on the patio. We have never had bad service or bad food at Texas Tony's before, so we figured it was just a bad night and left the young lady a more than 20% tip because we could tell she was really upset, and she did take the pie off of our check and even gave us the pie to take home. Like I said, we usually make two trips to Texas Tony's, so we figured we would give it another shot two days later. The same, very unfriendly hostess was there again, again we requested the patio, there were only 2 tables seated at that time, and she made it seem like it was a big deal and she would have to check with the server. After checking with the server she said we could sit on the patio. She seated us and Dino, our server, came over and took our drink order. In the meantime, Dino's other table left and now he only had 1 table left that was next to us. He made several trips to the table next to us getting their order, bringing their drinks, food, etc. We waited about 20 minutes for our drink order, but it never came, but the table that got seated behind us after we came in got their drinks and their food, while we are still waiting for our drinks and for our order to be taken (funny another family got to sit on the patio after us, even though we were made to feel like criminals for asking to sit on the patio, and they got their drinks and their food while we were still sitting there waiting for drinks and to give our order). Dino was avoiding us just like the servers avoided us two days before. We eventually left, no drinks no food. So word to the wise, do not ask if you can sit somewhere when the grumpy, middle aged, lady with brown hair and glasses is the hostess, she does not like it and the sta
First visit after almost 2 years and the ribs tasted as good as ever. Still day long happy-hour with 2 for 1 drinks. Service was speedy and friendly and the manager Dan is still around anf taking good care of customers.
