I eat at the brand semi regularly, avoid this location.Do your job.Good brand in a good neighborhood ran by lazy management and lazy workers.
Today Saturday, on a drive from Marco Island to Naples, decided to stop at this Pollo Tropical. We ordered a Trio family meal, a Topped Tostones with Chicken and Avocado and a Chilled Mango drink, ODER #268 at store#10204. We were asked for our order on the drive trru speaker by a male voice only to be forced to repeat the order to a female voice whom would turn out to be an employee named Erika. There was no cheerfulness in this staff and definitely no accuracy. We were 5 miles North of the store on Collier Blvd when we decide to look inside the bag. NO TOPPED TOSTONES!!, And even though I asked for white rice twice, they still gave me yellow rice! I have been missing items before and just grin and bear it, but when it's 8.49 + tax you dont just drive on. Upon returning I was treated as if I was from outer space. It took nearly 10 extra minutes in the drive tru. I asked the young lady to ask the manager to offer me a FLAN for my inconvenience. Erika said no, while the two employees laughed as if amused by my request. I have managed food service in my lifetime and I can say sadly, this person Erika has no customer skills whatsoever. There is a right way and a wrong way to say no to a customer. They did not once apologized for the trouble of having to double back just to get the order right. Then, it took three different requests when I asked for the manager's name, she finally came to the window and with an angry face blurted out: "Erika". I will never again visit this store. If it's the last pollo left in the chain, I will stop eating there. Anybody coming from Marco and the area of Collier and US 41 would be better off driving to Golden Gate Pkwy where they treat you with respect, smile and if they get it wrong they make it right cheerfully. There is nothing wrong with the place, but the staff leaves alot to be desired and I would not be surprised if this store is the lowest producer in the district. They won't be seeing any more money from me. Sorry! I recommend pollo tropical for the food and value, but not THIS STORE!! drive the extra few miles to Golde Gate Pkway or the other store closer to the court house, you will save yourself alot of aggravation.
me and husband went to eat there and the dining room was closed so we ordered thru drive thru.and the fries were hard as a rock.waste of money plus my husband ordered fried chicken with rice and beans and the employee said they had no chicken at first then when we went to pay they said they had regular grilled chicken so we ordered that order with rice and beans but as we got the order it was tiny amount of rice and beans not worth what we paid for.we are very dissapointed.bout this.plus the food had no salt whatsover.never again going to eat at no pollo.tropical.
First time there thought there food was pretty good ?. The chicken ? was good. There cuban sandwich ? was delicious ?. We also tried the Tropichop chicken ? and steak ? not bad at all. Staff was great at this location ?.
I went there for lunch and to try the new rice pudding guess what I got expired rice pudding which that is pretty dangerous you could get a bad food poisoning out of that , what a bad experience . Shame on the managers who are supposed to check that
We found Pollo Tropical, which was near the hotel on our spring break vacation, to be a super value and great food. Everyone enjoyed lunch so much that the kids chose this place for a quick dinner on our last night in FL! I did find service to be a little slow (kind of got the sense that one guy was trying to cover most of the bases on his own), but the food was great. On the last night, this location closed early, so we had to do drive-through at another. That also was fantastic for a fast-food type experience. Our entire complicated order was correct, hot, and fresh.
Had a couple of cuban sandwiches last night We had them before very good last night's versions very bad
I’m over it, this place closes earlier then other locations, and always runs out of food a whole hour or two before they actually close. They’ve had their main dining area closed due to COVID but it’s starting to feel more like an excuse then a legitimate reason. For this reason you’re forced to use the drive through, where while stuck in a long line they run out of chicken and then you’re just stuck there. All this together with the staffs crummy attitude it adds up. This is the third, and the last time, this happens to me.
Our new favorite place ? the food was reasonably priced, HOT and delicious ? The staff though, kind, friendly and what is going to keep bringing us back. This kind of service is what we tell our friends about.
Dining room closed. No notice. Ordered food on app. Drive through is not an option. Not able to get the meal I paid for. Why close the dining room and remove the sauce bar. Pollo used to be great but sucks now.
