My son comes here regularly, but he brought me for the first time. I was a little nervous that the food would be too spicy for me because I had never had Indian food in a restaurant. But the server was incredibly kind and said she would request my food to be mild. And it was. My son had Mulligatawney soup, which I got to taste, and it was delicious. (It's a little spicy, but I will order some next time because it wasn't too spicy for me). We had an assortment of Naan bread -- plain, garlic, and Aloo (potato). We liked the garlic the best. All are light and just the right blend of crispy and chewy. I had chicken tikki masala, and it was delicious. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We walked in and easily got a table (which is a rarity during season in Naples!). I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. Overall, it had excellent atmosphere, wonderful service, and delicious food.

Would not return. Maybe I'm spoiled by good Indian food therefore I have a good frame of reference. Passage to India was below mediocre. Two main courses, two side dishes, one mixed appetizer a few greasy bits tossed in a paper bag all for $100.For that amount I expect at least to be satisfied if not wowed. Passage to India was utterly disappointingThe dishes were completely bland the mutton was lacking in flavor as was the eggplant. I can make a way better sag paneer at home, and chopped mint and vinegar does not equal chutney. This was a total waste of money and ingredients..

Why not try cooking quality Indian food? All those who recommend this place are seriously deluded if you think you are eating authentic Indian cuisine. What a shame.

Great Indian restaurant. The food was tasty and authentic. Service was friendly and prompt

I'm no novice to Indian food. My wife (she's Thai) and I eat here every chance we get. The food is better than most of the places in Lauderdale or Miami. I'm not sure what's with some of the negative reviews - but our experiences have only been excellent! They are the ONLY place that has been able to make a Lamb Vindaloo that's actually spicy! Their Tandoori Chicken is also excellent - very tender and moist with great flavor. You can't go wrong - especially considering you're in Naples and looking for ethnic food! It is a little on the expensive side, but not really that bad compared to others. Somewhat inconsistently, they make the best Mango Lassi I've ever had. (Depends on who makes it I think). UPDATE 2022: Food is still amazing. They're even adding new deliciousness to the menu. I love the new lamb shoulder - so tender, really nice improvement over the regular, which was already my favorite! They have added a really nice drink too - Tamarind Margerita - upgrade it to Don Julio, you won't regret it!

This restaurant serves up some of the best food (especially lamb) that I have ever had in my life! The Curry and Tiki Masala dishes are so flavorful and a must. Nowhere else can compare. From the appetizers, main courses, to the desserts, it's a gem.

Zero star:This is the worst Indian / Bangladeshi restaurants I have ever been to in USA. I am Bangladeshi and I love to eat and cook Bangladeshi cuisine. This place’s name is Passage to India - Taste of Bangladesh. However I couldn’t find a single Bangladeshi dish in the menu. When I asked about their Bangladeshi items to the waitress, she said ‘All our foods are Bangladeshi’. This is such a misleading and fraudulent information! First of all Indian cuisine and Bangladeshi cuisine are not at all same even if a chef uses the same spices. The tastes are completely different for both the cuisines. If they have all Bangladeshi items in the menu, then there is no Indian items in the menu and vice versa. But in reality all the items are Indian but not Bangladeshi. So using the name as Taste of Bangladesh is ridiculous here!Secondly, the prices are at least $6 - $7 higher than any other very good Indian restaurants where the food was better than here. In the menu they say, if you want a sharing plate for any item, you have to pay $5 for it. By paying $5, you can purchase five of those plates from a store. This place is ridiculous. For some cut onion pieces they charge you $2. Are you kidding me?I ordered Chicken biryani. That was not a Indian chicken biryany nor a Bangladeshi chicken biryani. On top of all the servers were not friendly, not willing to happily answer questions about food. They seemed quite rude, not knowledgeable about the food they serve.Such a wastage of money and time. I just did not leave the place without eating not to be rude. We will never go back again to waste money!

When my partner and I come to visit my family the one place I look forward to eating the most is Passage to Indian. It is an absolute must. The food is consistently delicious. Portion sizes are great. Staff is friendly and competent.Ignore the bitter 1 star reviews and try something deliciously different tonight!

The food was so yummy! Will definitely be going back!

Wow. Don’t know if you got a new chef, but tonight’s dinner was better than ever ! Delicious
