This hidden gem in Naples sits back between other restaurants. Beautiful outside appearance with the flowers climbing over the terrace. Staff was friendly and always checking on us. Loved the pickles for a little appetizer that was there waiting on the table to eat while waiting for our food . Food was delicious and even had entertainment while dinning there a gentleman was playing his guitar he was very good. Highly recommend finding this place and eating there!!
This was such a great place to have dinner last night! Outdoor seating was really scenic and the food was really good! I got a cheesesteak and it was very flavorful. Shoutout to our waitress Nikki - she was excellent! My wife and I really enjoyed our visit.
After enjoying coming to this place for 15 years, I hate having to write this review. Came for lunch with coworkers & my buddy ordered a grouper sandwich. All of us being familiar with grouper, knew that this wasn't grouper. Fish looked rancid and we thought that my buddy just got served some rotten tilapia or something. After politely explaining to the manager (bald gentleman with an accent) that we believe he got served something other than grouper, it was clear that my buddy had struck a nerve by saying that. The managers face turned bright red and got all excited and began insisting that "all we serve is grouper" and we again explained how the filet doesn't even look like a grouper filet, it was rubbery and didn't flake like grouper. The manager eventually told us that they do serve swai as well for their fish sandwich (A disgusting bottom feeder shark-fish i wouldn't advise my worst enemy to eat) however the manager maintained that essentially we didn't know what we were talking about and was extremely rude throughout. After leaving, the manager wouldn't even look us in the eye as we exited as he was so embarrassed. Don't go to this place unless you want to get a Swai basket yet pay a grouper price
I consulted a Winter/Spring issue of Must Do visitor guide offered at my hotel to learn of this place and went because I thought there would be live music. Unfortunately, the season had changed and the entertainment was suspended for a time. It has an amazingly beautiful outdoor vine covered looking terrace. I was asked where I wanted to sit, inside or outside? I remained neutral to be respectful of their seating space, really wanting to sit outside, of course. The host took me inside across the bar and the assigned waitress clearly refused me. The host turned me around to seat me in a corner table VERY close to a seated couple already eating. My view was the back of bar patrons. It is a small inside area. They have a unique offering of a jar of dill pickles (like a basket of bread) which was never explained to me. I went wanting the fish and chips but no half order was offered. (glad now because I found myself immensely satisfied somewhere else). I ordered the burger, fries, delicious onion ring sauce for dipping, and the brownie/ice cream/no nuts for dessert with a cold bottled cider. It all tasted great! I did need a to go box and got one when I asked. I left somewhat disappointed and even more so when I began wandering the outside terrace and saw two-top tables I could have enjoyed my dinner at guilt free. The plus side was walking and learning of this beautifully presented evening area of shops and restaurants which I definitely want to return to one day.
Free pickles! Good, hot food (fish and chips and blackened grouper sandwich) and great prices. Lovely outdoor garden atmosphere. Loved it!
Nice outdoor setting but the food is mediocre at best. Both of our meals reminded us of college bar food, They make the dishes sound interesting on the menu but they are quite tasteless once on your table. With so many good places near by, it makes no sense to eat here. Maybe ok for a drink.
Setting was perfect. Outdoor seating in a garden like patio area. Weather couldn’t have been better and our server made our first visit to the Old Naples Pub a pleasant one. Enjoyed our meals - salad was large and delicious. Salmon “catch” platter was generously portioned.
so so yummy! we went for dinner and they seated us pretty quickly even tho we had a group of 8 and everyone was so nice. cute host and the waiter was so nice. i got the clam chowder for apps and shrimp and chips for the main and it was delicious. i would eat 10 more plates of that if my bank account allowed. i cannot recommend enough. eat here and it’ll be the best meal of your life:)
Get there early as there is always a crowd waiting on line Why? Because the food is SO good and reasonably priced. Lots of beer choices. The burgers are amazing but this time we tried the fried grouper. It was off the chart perfectly prepared and plenty on the plate. Our waiter was attentive and we had a wonderful lunch!
Was a nice place for a casual meal. We sat outside and loved the atmosphere of the covered dining area which had pretty flowers and vines growing all around the pillars and ceiling. I had a crab cake sandwich that was delicious, but my husband felt his honey chicken sandwich was average and somewhat bland. They did have children’s menus and high chairs for families. Staff/sever was meh.
