I’ve heard a lot about Larry’s lunchbox, and today was the first time I stopped in. It is truly incredible!!!!! If you’re in Naples don’t miss Larry‘s lunchbox deli! That’s a half a sandwich on each plate!!! Best Deli in town!!
It gets very busy at lunchtime but definitely worth waiting in line for the matzo ball soup, potato latkes, and Monte Cristo sandwich. The woman who takes the orders, and clears the tables should get a medal for how fast she is. The pastrami sandwich looked very good as well.
Ordered two sandwiches on the best rye bread we’ve ever had. Both the Pastrami and corned beef was lean, tasty and ample. Even the pickles were outstanding and served in their own separate container! Definitely recommend
Food here is GREAT!!! Never had anything that wasn’t at least good, but their sandwiches, soups and salads are all GREAT! Marci (the boss & lady behind the counter) is an interesting character. She’s never done wrong by me, but she IS kinda frantic. If you want your hand held and to be made to feel good, go to Chick Fil A. Larry’s reminds me of a New York deli or Cuban Cafeteria in little Havana, nobody cares about your feelings, the customer is NOT always right, but the food is AWESOME! I highly recommend if your a foodie or aren’t sensitive. Honestly I find it amusing and my food is always made to order and Ive never left missing any sides or sauces so I have no complaints!
Placed an advance order for 2 corned beef sammies, a salad, and 1 quart of soup on 3/16. Was told to come at the end of the day (5:15 PM) since they were slammed for St. Paddy's Day and they couldn't accept any orders for earlier in the day. When we got there, they were sold out. wouldn't even give us the soup or salad. So as their website prophetically stated - "No soup or sammies for us". Guess they don't understand the concept of advance orders?
Best corned beef and chopped liver in town. Service is excellent. It's my favorite go-to restaurant in Naples for lunch. They are always busy but the wait is short and worth it
First, this deli is to be experienced. Period. A friend recommended it to us. Second, take your visit in and be prepared to eat well. Sandwiches are enormous. Third, order by number off the menu. Things will go better. Fourth, give Marci and her staff time to cook. Rueben & chicken salad are excellent! Fifth, enjoy the meal as we have for the past three years. Take away, too!! Sixth, we’ll be back!
It’s definitely a one if a kind place. Expensive but good.
Hands down best Reuben and great fries. Ice cold beer. Do not miss this hole in the wall!!! Strip mall yummy food that gets overlooked a lot
I give this place five stars based on the quality of the sandwiches. I ordered a corned beef on rye and at it was epic. The freshly baked rye bread was simply to die for and the corned beef was stacked high. It was lean and tasty. All the food we saw coming out of the kitchen looked excellent. If you come here be prepared to wait. The place is tiny and they get slammed at lunch. Don't come here if you are in a rush. They are understaffed but keep in mind most places are these days. If your patient you will be rewarded with some excellent food.
