This is a more authentic Mexican food restaurant. The chips that came to the table were served with pico, which was delicious, but there were only three large chips for two people. My mate had an asada burrito which was plentifully stuffed, but the quality of the meat was below average. My tacos were simple and didn't come with anything you might typically expect like lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream. Cola is her served in cans or bottles, so no free refills. Bonus: they carry Mexican cola which does not contain corn syrup!
The food was delicious. Even my kids who claim to hate tacos loved it! The owners were very helpful when we discovered upon leaving that our car would not start. My boyfriend went back the next day and ate there again. ❤️
I stopped on a whim by myself and asked the waitress what they were known for. She said the tacos de birrias. Beef stew meat tacos with the liquid to dunk your corn taco shells in. Just the right kind of spicy, very fresh and a margarita made with white wine instead of tequila (her mother's version as she's not much of a drinker) very refreshing.I added a gordita with chorizo as well. ALL OF IT, SO FRESH, SO GOOD!!It's kind of hidden in the plaza on 41 next to a western wear place. Must find and try it!
I had the Carne Asada tacos they were very good I had the Refried beans and rice I also had their salsa the green one was spicy but I liked it I would definitely go back there again it’s a small nice place to have some good tacos.
This is a hidden gem. Small and clean in a strip mall but wow, the food is fresh, flavorful, and authentic. I had the birria plate. 3 tacos well filled served with onion, cilantro and lime along with rice and beans. Also amazing pico de Gallo. They have authentic Mexican Coke as well as Mexican drinks. I had the Jamaica. I will definitely return.
One of the best meals I’ve ever had. And the service was also excellent. Restaurant is run by a family who truly seems to care about making great food.
The service was good, our waitress was sweet. We had the taco platter which was delicious. Locals and snowbirds both filled the dining room. We will definitely be back.
My husband and I are visiting from Southern California. I have been missing food from home. This was so authentic I could have closed my eyes and seen my family sitting with me. The staff is actually family and extremely kind. I haven't had service like this in ages.As for the food...I am stuffed and everything was so damned delicious. The pricing is soft on the wallet which completely helps when you are traveling. Everything was cooked perfectly.I am going to make sure I came to visit that this is on my list of required visits.
Food so good we came back again today for lunch! Everything we had was delicious, but I especially loved the gordita! Oh and their waters are amazing too!
