I was very very disappointed. We started with a ceviche mixto. Wow it was bad. Ceviche had some unknown stuff. I think it was supposed to be the calamari. The crunchy corn was inside the ceviche? and on the bottom it was a piece of lettuce that it was going bad by the fact that it had a big red part. Also, It was very very warm to the point the onions were cooking. That’s one of my favorite meals and I couldn’t believe it was so bad.The tuna roll was ok.Poke bowl had red lettuce and a very little piece of salmon.Last the chicken noodle. Over cooked chicken with no flavor to it.Peruvian is one of the best cuisines in the world and this restaurant does not represent the beauty of this type of cuisine.
My Go To sushi restaurant. Nice atmosphere inside. Band plays occasionally. Can be loud sometimes too. But very nice decor inside. Outside there is seating. Very relaxing. I got the sushi boat for one. Absolutely amazing. Got same thing last year too! Also got the crab and avacado salad! Delish!!!! My number one place to go...and I'm a pilot who travels the country....the BEST!!
Food is great, no complaints there. I've had their Lomo saltado, Kamoon Deluxe plate, and their Tom Kah soup, all great. My problem is the lighting and AC system. They suffer from negative pressure (due to a faulty AC system?). This is apparent when you struggle to open the door, then if you are seated next to the door, you feel a huge draft every. time. it. opens. The second time I went there I asked to be seated away from the door for that reason, only to find myself uncomfortably muggy, and began to notice the pressure fluctuations. On top of odd lighting fixtures that shine a not-pleasant-to-look-at bulb with no way to avoid looking at, unless you avert your eyes down. That last one is an easy fix: just shade the top part of the light fixtures so that the light shines down. Hope the owners read this, and I hope they take the suggestions seriously because trust me, its noticeable, and it makes enjoying the food, which again is great, hard because you just want to get out of there. I guess you could up this review 1 star if you are ordering takeout, which will be the only way I eat here moving forward until those fixes are made. Thanks for reading.
We were staying nearby for a conference and were looking for a good place for sushi. This restaurant received very good reviews on Trip Advisor so we gave it a shot. It’s a smaller place but great charm and a really big menu!!! The food was outstanding and well priced. Service was excellent. I would highly recommend!!
A big thrill to find frogs legs on special. Delicious !!Their food n in dining service is appreciated. They work hard to please
Salmon poke, tuna poke were delicious. Kids teriyaki steak was a big meal and tasty. Overall, excellent.
Horrible! I don’t recommend this restaurant. They don’t even know what sauce is supposed to go with each food item on their own menu. And they don’t understand English. The food tastes horrible. And they rush you to leave the restaurant. They all act in a hurry. They need to close this location.
First, let me note that for the past 6 years, I have dined here roughly 4 times each year. Mostly, I been very pleased with everything. Last night, I ordered takeout in order to relax and dine at home. Online, I ordered my standby Thai comfort dish of Basil Sauce with a side of brown rice. I arrived at the Pine Ridge location to find the dinner rush had passed and 4 tables inside and 5 outside had diners. There were 3 servers and a kitchen staff of who knows how many but at least 3 different faces appeared at the small counter where servers pickup meals from the kitchen. While not busy, no employee made eye contact much less saying hello and or offering a "Someone will be with you shortly" greeting or whatever. With 2 other takeout customers there before me I joined their queue near a table laden with food in containers but none of it was going anywhere. More takeout containers came out of the kitchen and were placed on the table. After being there for at least 15 minutes with still no acknowledgement of my presence by anyone who worked there, one server/hostess came over to the table, sat down, spread out 6 take-out order receipts, starting reading them and sorted through the 15 or more containers on the able to match each item to the proper printed receipt. No receipt had a complete order so the server got up and performed some other tasks. Meanwhile, a new take-out customer who ordered online and was completely ignored. All the while, the take-out food is cooling.More food came out of the kitchen and was put on the table by the server/hostess and more receipts were read and containers were matched to an order. Finally, one of the customers there before me had a complete order, paid and left. My term came next except, the side of brown rice still wasn't ready. It was forgotten. The server/hostess went to the kitchen and brought back the brown rice. I should have opened every container and checked it personally before paying but I didn't. My big mistake. Whatever sauce I was given was far different from the usual, it was not spiced properly but I added my own chili pepper sauce at home. The basil used was not fresh but dried out stems and fibrous. The brown rice was a glutinous mass of rice mush so overcooked and dried out and cold that the scoop of rice was glued together and there were no individual rice grains separable from the mass, just different degrees of textured mush. Disgusting. Will I go back again. Maybe, but only as a last resort as there are other Thai restaurants in the area. Oh well, every meal is an adventure. Sometimes they end really well and other times ...
We ordered two of the same entree—mixed seafood curry. It’s pricey—$30–but the description said it included half a lobster tail. When the dinner arrived per Grubhub, there was not even a whiff of lobster in either dinner. When we called to complain, we got a ridiculous runaround, including the suggestion that we tell Grubhub—who did everything they were supposed to do— to credit us for the meal When my wife became insistent, they offered a credit—if she came to the restaurant. If we wanted to go there, we wouldn’t have ordered for delivery. What we got, btw, was tasty but sparse—not much seafood, even leaving aside the lobster tail. Forget this place.
Didn’t know about this place until few weeks ago. First time was business lunch. I needed to go back. First the flavors are amazing. My soup was Tom yum. Very tasty. Then I ordered Palta Rellena. Excellent. The service very friendly. We waited a little longer but was worth it. My kids like it all as well. Recommended. ??
