Nothing special. You get exactly what you paid for. There was a party of six and everybody ordered different dish, but everything feels like it was made long time ago and just warm up in the microwave right before serving. They used a lot of pre-made stuff. Everything was very bland. If you're trying Greek food for the first time, I would not recommend to go to this place. If you need cheap quick bite that will do.
Been here before and food was good. Had a choice of a few restaurants tonight that all closed at 8:30. Showed up at 8:12 and I was told kitchen is closed and now lost the opportunity to go to one of the other places. All we wanted was a couple Gyro sandwiches that would have taken 5 minutes as it was not busy. If it was my restaurant I would have welcomed the business. Will think twice about going back
We stopped here while driving from Naples to Estero. We’re not familiar with the area and wanted to try something local. The classic gyro was really good and the keftedes gyro was outstanding. Although we didn’t drink they had a good selection of bottled beers and $5 cocktails.
really nice place - good food - reasonable - very homey - owner a really nice guy. worst menu display online ever seen -= cannot be read without magnification and even with it, its very difficult. please update your online menu.
This is a difficult review because I’ve been here a few times and it was good, but on those occasions it wasn’t busy at all. I went last night with my family and it wasn’t as good. It was very busy and we sat outside because it was nice weather. First off the drinks were awful. We had old fashioneds a Manhattan and a lemon drop. They were all bad. We had a few appetizers. The keftedes were outstanding! The Greek nachos were just ok. It was fries with meat, cheese and vegetables. The calamari was very good. We ordered a gyro plate and it wasn’t what we expected. It was the ingredients of a gyro on a plate. There was no way to make a gyro because the pita was too small. It wasn’t good. When you order a gyro you expect a prepared gyro. I had the lamb shank and it was good. The shank could have been more tender. My wife had the kabobs and they were very salty. My son had the kabobs too and his were ok. The rice was perfect. I will give this place another chance but I won’t go when it’s busy.
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant . The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience ( Thank you Richelle B.). The food is absolutely amazing – everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Highly recommend!

Greektown taverna is located near my real estate office in north Naples. My home buyer and I had some time in-between viewing condos for sale today so we decided to check it out. The food was amazing, the gyro was the best. Servers were friendly and we were able to sit outside and enjoy our lunch. We ordered a meal to be delivered that included blackened grouper and pork souvlaki among other dishes. It was our first experience with the restaurant. The food that was meant to be served hot arrived hot and it was all delicious. This is a restaurant we will definitely patronize in the future. Highly recommend!
Ordered take out, lamb chops and shrimp kebabs. Outstanding. First time for take out, and they knock it out of the park. Tremendously enjoy going there for sit down and now I know they're take out service is as great. ??
