We drove 50 minutes to get there. Made our reservation the day prior to spend our one year anniversary here. I understood it would be pricey and that’s okay, but it was awful that they did not provide the courtesy of telling us (not even the servers knew) that there was going to be a fundraiser there. I couldn’t hear my boyfriend who was a foot away from me due to the music BLASTING 80’s music. We asked if we can turn it down and the waitress said she’s not allowed to and other customers are upset as well. This ruined our anniversary and I feel like if I’m going to be spending a lot of money to be at a nice restaurant, the least they could do is make it so I don’t feel like I’m in a dive bar at 12pm. Horrible and NEVER going back. Telling everyone I know. There are MANY other nice restaurants in Naples, choose a different one.

I've been to Dorona many times since it opened in 2018. The food, ambience, and service has been top notch. I had a particularly excellent experience there last Friday night. Sitting at my table at about 10 pm while having a spectacular dinner with friends - I noticed that my wallet was missing from my pocket. I had been to the restroom about an hour earlier and thought I may have dropped it there. As I got up to take a look, a staff member was passing the table and I asked him if they had found a wallet? He replied, Dr. Raskin? I said "yes", he said, "I have your wallet!" He had found it, and found my information in it. He had called my cellphone and left a message letting me know that he had it and was saving it for me, and would put it in a safe place overnight if I didn't recover it that night. He had been looking for me, but the reservation was in someone else's name. I was impressed with his honesty and courteousness. It turns out he was Tom, the manager of the restaurant.So we had a wonderful dinner (I had a great porterhouse steak), and an exceptional experience with Tom (the manager). I'll be back to Dorona for many more wonderful meals. If you're in Naples looking for a wonderful restaurant experience, Dorona is the place.
Heavy beef menu. The porterhouse we had was very tender. Ask for the steak for two to get a three coarse meal with potato and two side veggies along with Caesars salad and Tiramsu.
Just today had a luncheon Baby Shower for 12 people. Doronas did a fantastic job…really took great care of us, food was wonderful! Thanks to Tom that booked it for us, Julia our server, and whoever the chef was, they all made it a perfect event.
Had one of the steak specials. Outstanding steak and good atmosphere too. Give this place a try. Nice alternative from the downtown dining scene. Should have tried it sooner!
Good was Ok nothing to encourage a return visit…servers were quite nice and professional.. when being seated we requested a booth and we’re advised that booths Must be requested when reservations are made. I asked if an exception could be made.. the hostess rudely said No and literally slammed the menus and wine list down. Incidentally the booth we requested was still open two hours later as we were leaving.
