The garlic bread appetizer is a MUST. Everything we had was exceptional. My dad had the pork cutlets and said they were the best he had had for awhile. The staff was friendly and they must train them well because our waitress, Paulina, said it was her first night and she did great! It is very busy but we only had to wait about 20 minutes. We will be back.
Always good, local Italian. Great marinara! Good deal for the price. ***Update*** Just ate there again last Sunday 3/27/22 and brought friends. They raved about it! They really are the best damn Italian in the area, especially when you figure, price, value and quality. You can't go wrong. Trust me.
Always crabby, ornery service - but always great food so we put up with it. I don’t know why they choose to work there if they really dislike people and providing service so much. We have been going for 6 years, always the same. We are friendly, polite and we tip big - doesn’t help. Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo is my favorite!
Went with a friend for dinner (first time for both) we were seated as soon as we entered. The place was fully loaded with tons of noise. Main dishes and salads were very good. Our server was Joy, we found her to be very unattentive to us and the table next to ours. Waited too long for the food to be served.
I had linguine with clam and it was excellent. I had never been served this dish circled with open clams. And the chopped house salad was unique and also excellent. Service was excellent as well. Can’t wait to go back for another wonderful meal!
Food was great, and our server was excellent. Her name is Judith. My only complaint is we had a reservation at 4:30PM. We got there about 4:00PM. We wanted to have a drink before we ate. They would not let us sit until all of us, (10) were present. Two of our part were not there yet. My question is, if the table is reserved and no one else is going to sit there, why did we have to wait? I do know from experience hostess is dumb as rocks.
Visiting friends who live near by. Went last year, sat in the bar for food & drink that was very good. Started at bar this time then moved in to main dining. Was not disappointed at all! Great food, great drink and great service! Get's pretty busy early. Did not wait long at all!
The owner works there which is always a plus. The food was fantastic and authentically Italian. Reminiscent of eating in Florence Italy on the piazza. You known it’s good when the locals have been coming for 10 years or more.
This is not one of my favorite places to eat in Naples, but friends like it. Six of us dined here this evening, specifically going for the a Trigger fish casserole special offered, baked, blackened or Italian-style. Four of us ordered the baked special. Only one was brought to the table. The other three were just a piece of baked fish not in a casserole. Joyce said…that’s what you ordered and walked away. No apologies or thoughts of how her error could be made right. A GOOD server would have attempted to make THREE out of six of us happy. Not only did she have a terrible attitude, but she’s gruff and rude. Not my favorite place to dine and now after this poor service another nail in their coffin. We won’t be rushing back.
Usually do not write reviews however not this time. Ordered eggplant parm. A $15.99 dinner as per the menu. I was charged over $22! WHY?When asked for an explanation it was because it came with an undisclosed and definitely not ordered "side of pasta" What!! Opening the to go order at home it contained barely 3 slices of eggplant and a half pound of never ordered spaghetti. Let the buyer beware!
