My wife and I went to Mr Big Fish Restaurant but it was closed on Sundays. We saw many cars at the parking area on the other side of the road. We went over and saw this Chinese restaurant. It is a small restaurant catering mainly to takeaways. There were 4 tables inside and a couple of tables outside. The photos of the food looked appetizing, so we went in. We ordered Crispy Whole Snapper, Hunan Shrimps & Scallops, rice and a can of coconut water. While waiting for our food, we saw many customers picking up their orders. Our food tasted excellent. As requested, they cooked our food low salt to suit our taste. My wife liked the fortune cookies and the restaurant willingly sold us 2 dozens of them, at cheaper price than what we could buy from Chinese shops.
This is a call ahead place as there is virtually no seating. It’s a tiny place in a shopping center, so you could miss it. The food was great. I had mu shu pork and my wife had the eggplant. We each had a spring roll which reminded us of China. My wife had the pan sautéed vegetarian dumplings which were good and I had the house crispy duck which was excellent. I’m anxious to go back and try other dishes.
Food wasn't bad per se but wasn't good either. There was just such little flavor to it. If you're looking for something that isn't terrible but not great either this may be the place for you. I'd rate 2.5 stars because I consider 3 stars to be average and this didn't taste as good as average... but no option for that.
We had 10 people to feed, and China Chen make our dishes in 15 minutes, wow that was fast, I watched though the door and saw each dish coming out from the wok, steaming hot and fresh, will order again before we leave.
The rice tasted old and was really dry. I called in an order for two things of rice and it literally took five minutes if that when I walked in the door and our order was already ready…. So I guess the rice had been sitting it wasn’t fresh!!! ? I asked for extra onions in my rice and did not get it. I guess I should have listened to the reviews!
Steer clear! Food was terrible. $12.50 for 6 TINY ribs! I could have gotten better ribs at Ruby Tuesday! Hot and Sour soup was disgusting. $52.00 and food was horrible
Food was great, deliver service via grubhub wasn't too bad, it's fast and delivery charge is responsible unless you expect a FREE delivery.
Spring rolls were great. I ate one before I got home. Sui Mai with spicy sauce best I’ve ever had! Shrimp Mei Fun is my favorite dish. I can’t say enough goodness. The customer service is excellent too. I’m a full time resident. It’s good all the time.
