Really bad experience in food quality, calamari was not good at all, I ordered a couple dishes was very disappointed quality for price is horrific! My boyfriend liked his salad but that’s it! I had to have them remake my dish I actually changed it for a new one like a whole different one and it was worse ! You need some work to do! My bill was almost 90$ we had four drinks and that was the only good part of our dining experience, we won’t be back I rather pay 90$ somewhere else
Bit disappointed on this visit. Love this restaurant location and vibe. Food was good but service was spotty at best. Regardless seemed overwhelmed with a couple tables, never brought second plate, had to be reminded to refill drinks, never brought additional napkins. Got real friendly and smiley when time to pay check, going for the tip at this point. May have to start going to the coconut point location were we have never had this issue.
Had dinner here Sunday, April 17. I work in a restaurant, and let me just say if I was as inhospitable to customers at my job as the hostess was to us, I’d be fired on the spot. She intently looked at her watch as she came over to seat us a good 45 minutes before close, and then told us to hurry up because the kitchen was closing. Our server Carlos had no such issue with us; quite the opposite. He was everything you could want in a server and made up for the rude hostess. Would return, but will make sure next time to be early enough so as not to terribly inconvenience the hostess…
Walked in to get a table for 2. Plenty of tables available but the hostess brings us to a tiny table with a dirty washcloth on it. I ask for another table and pointed to several that were open. All she said was those are for bigger parties. Theses tables can be separated but she said no. Then another hostess said you can sit there which is another similar table. I said so I can’t sit there or there or there but you can move that one (neAr the kitchen). Ridiculous. Hostess was not friendly or accommodating. If you don’t have a big party don’t bother. If the tables were reserved I’d understand but not so.I was given a response from California Kitchen asking to respond to a given email. The email was invalid.
After a long day of sightseeing in the hot sun, we wanted something fast that would appeal to everyone. Ordered the pizzas online: the works, hawaiian and the carne asada, along with the Thai crunch, Caesar and veggie salads. The works was the first to get annihilated, then the carne asada (nice of them to serve the cilantro pesto on the side, but the za was pretty plain without it. In terms of the salads, the Thai crunch ruled over the other two and by a wide margin.
We arrived and we were put in a booth in the back in the dark as the hostess said there was a long wait for the table by the window. We told the hostess we’d rather wait for a table by the windows and we went to the bar to wait. I let her know that we were fine waiting and no rush. She replied • I’m really busy right now and walked away”. Then she immediately came over and said our table was ready and waltz away not waiting for us. She was immature, snippy and rude. The spinach dip was served with stale chips. Over all it was average. The rude hostess needs to get some training.
We dropped in because a nearby restaurant could not seat us despite a reservation. They don't take reservations here and we didn't need one. The service was fast and friendly and the food was fabulous. We had a gin-cucumber cocktail and a 9 oz glass of wine, then ordered Chicken Picata and Grilled salmon on a plank. Both were first-rate, hot and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended.
Wonderful friendly staff, ready to serve and attentive to any requests. Half Caesar salad with addition of salmon, cut into bite size pieces was excellent. Pino Grigio Frances Ford Coppola was refreshing along with Ultimate Bloody Mary with salami, cheese and large green Olive was also top notch. No wait seating accommodated our pre Artis Naples performance time . Many thanks Jefferson and all the rest who served us! Very much appreciated!
We tried to get into Brio but they had close to an hour wait. We decided to go next door to California Pizza Kitchen. We weren't disappointed! The Margarita Pizza was delicious and the crust was perfectly cooked. The Sangria Flight was the best even though the other cocktails were perfect. We didn't have to wait to be seated. This is a must try when at the Waterside Shoppes.
Wait time was minimal. Food was very good, the kids ALWAYS have to have Avacodo rolls for their appetizer. We had a focaccia, pizza, chicken piccata, and thai crunch salad. 3 different specialty drinks, Blueberry Ginger smash was especially nice ? our waiter Jose was excellent on top of everything!
