Went back this time With just myself and my husband to celebrate our anniversary. The general manager gave us a champagne toast and our server Kendall, what a sweetheart! We couldnât be more pleased with her. She made our special day feel even more special. And the food, was fabulous! My husband has a French dip and said it was the best heâs ever had. I had the chicken salad and it was loaded so much flavor. Highly recommend Burntwood Tavern!
All four meals were presented well and very tasty. Menu selections and pricing was above average value.
Burntwood Tavern was a complete disappointment. We wonât be back. The restaurant had only a few tables occupied inside. Service was slow and inattentive. Once we placed our order, our food came out quickly and all at once. Entrees were âdroppedâ at the table while we were still eating appetizers. The waitress never returned to the table to see if we wanted drink refills or to inquire if we needed anything. She only returned to drop off our bill, and then returned twice to see if we were ready to pay. I probably would have liked coffee/dessert, but it wasnât offered. We felt extremely rushed. The condition of the restrooms was horrible. The ladies room had a bad odor, was dirty, and the wash basin held standing water due to a clogged drain. The menâs room wasnât any better (according to my husband). Food quality was average. There are many more favorable restaurants in the complex.
Waiter is cool—no issues there. It is 90 degrees here. All the doors/windows are open and they are not running AC. Also, a bird keeps flying in and out of the restaurant. There was a one hour wait for salads. Food came 30 minutes after the salads. The food was good.
Waitress wasnât very knowledgeable and messed up our drink order. Food was just middle of the road ok. We sat inside and there was no air conditioning so it was very muggy
Decided to stop in for something to eat while doing some shopping with my wife and daughter. each of us ordered a sandwich, my wife got the French dip, daughter the California chicken sandwich and I ordered the tavern smash. All three of us thought our sandwiches were very good. would go back again
First we checked out the menu from outside and it looked good. From the moment we walked through the door the hostess looked like she did not want to be there, not a smile or a warm hello. We asked the waitress to light the candle on our table, she said yes let me go find a lighter but it never ended up getting lit as she just didn’t bother to come back with one. Had to ask for utensils and plates for our appetizers. My blackened chicken tortellini was swimming in sauce and I would not even call it blackened… just heavily over salted/spiced chicken. Worst experience, this place really sucks.
The food was good and the waiter tried his best. He was the only one so his job wasnât easy that day. There were 9 ladies in my party and we were very warm. The front doors were open and the ceiling fans were working but we didnât detect any AC.
We loved the calamari appetizer. And live music was great.
My flatbread was good and so was my husband's smash burger. Atmosphere was fine. Service was a little nonchalant. Really liked the location at Mercato shops.
