Honestly; I just want this place cleaned up so we can enjoy the decent local diner again. On multiple occasions, my husband and and I have had the displeasure of dealing with one specific server (Andrea) who is extremely rude and dismissive. The first time, my husband ordered a chili without cheese (he has a dairy allergy) and cheese was placed on the chili. When we told the server (everything, including the allergy), she took the chili back to the kitchen and brought it back with the cheese scooped off (there was a chunk of cheese still hanging off the edge). When I called her out on this, she said “fine, I guess we have time to make it again” and harshly grabbed the chili off the table. I asked her to write ‘no cheese’ on the ticket and she said “no. I’ll remember. I talk to the kitchen all the time”. After a brief argument (?) she agreed and was then heard loudly talking badly about us to other staff.We decided to give them another chance. On the next instance, she forcibly charged our card a gratuity of 18%, which, at this establishment is reserved for parties of six or more (it was just my husband and myself). We planned to tip but not that much (as she was rude during this instance as well), so my husband asked her to take the gratuity off. She literally responded “no. You have to tip”. No we don’t? We asked for the manager and she again said “no!” A gentleman came and took the ticket from her and took it off. We tipped 10% even though it should’ve been nothing at this point. We asked for the owner/manager and were given his number. He was very kind and offered us dinner at another restaurant he owns, which was great. We decided to give them another chance.During subsequent visits, there has been almost no service. No refills, we seat ourselves, we even get our own boxes…. The service is just so bad because of one poor server. It’s awful how much one bad employee can impact a business, but it’s also unacceptable to excuse their behavior over and over the way this establishment does. They will not receive another cent from us until this employee is gone.
Lovely little spot for breakfast. I had the fruit pancakes with pecans. Very tasty open. Far too much for me to finish. Staff were friendly. Not centrally location but parking was available.
Breakfast & Lunch restaurant. Good variety of selections on menu, friendly staff. My Grandma used to love this place, we decided to check it out for old times sake. We were not disappointed with our visit.
Honestly wish I could rate this establishment lower than a 1, does not even deserve that. Went Sunday April 9,2022 for lunch with my family, and our waitress Andrea was horrible! First off we all received our food minus one person in our group till the very end and we all understand mistakes may happen but our waitress never seemed to care till we brought it up to our attention! By the time he got his food we were all done with ours. Which is absolutely ridiculous, in addition to that when I asked if I may see a dessert menu Andrea informed me at first yes they had a dessert and quickly changed her response and said there was not any and here was the receipt!!! She had the receipt ready all the time. So horrible we were there for a day to celebrate my dads birthday what a mistake visiting Blueberry's Management should definitely take a look at what's going on!! On a good note Oscar was very helpful and attentive.
Nothing special. Pancakes and sticky tables. Breakfast burrito was good. Portions were good. Service wasn’t great. Place was a little slow. I’d pass if you’re considering this place.
Literally the only breakfast restaurant that does not have hash browns! I love hash browns with breakfast and will not be returning because of this!
First time here was March of 2021. Best pancakes I've ever had. Made my way back from NY and drove down from Tampa to enjoy another round. Place is clean and cozy. Service is friendly and professional. I highly recommend!
1st timers here. The service was poor. A table of 4 was seated apprx 20 min after we arrived and received their food 15 min before we were finally served.Our server brought a blueberry muffin for us presumably for our long wait. Pretty sure she never put our order in.The restaurant seemed well staffed. The pancakes were good as was the blueberry muffin.I think this place needs a better Manager to manage the staff. Many were preoccupied with visiting friends.
Never got to try the food. We put our name in, watched as the hostess called each party before us, and then parties that arrived after us. We asked if we were next and she said she already called our name. I can say with certainty that she did not but mistakes happen. The attitude she gave us was not necessary though. Then we ordered and waited another 25 minutes for our food before we decided to just leave. It was busy so people must like it but we won’t be back. Too many other options for breakfast with a friendlier staff.
It was ok, nothing special. Had blueberry pancakes which were kinda bland and not nearly enough syrup. Service was not great either and the place was not busy.
