We stayed at the Hotel so we decided to have breakfast there based on the reviews mentioning the food was good. Bu the experience was super bad for us. They took hour and 15 minutes to bring the food despite we were the first ones to order and almost nobody at that time in the morning (around 9am). Order also came out incomplete and scrambled eggs were cold as ice. Terrible experience.
The service was very good, but we did not like the food at all. It used to be a great restaurant. It is under new management and the menu is different than posted online. The fish on my sandwich was small compared to a giant roll. The fish tacos were the worst I have ever had. I would have returned the food, but it was late. Again, I do want to point out the servers were very good. It is not their fault. I loved the view though. Maybe just order something different.
Our visit to this lovely restaurant took place on Easter Sunday. Actually we lunched there a week earlier and decided to return because the food was amazing and they had flyers mentioning traditional Easter dinners. So me and 7 family members sat outside in the lovely sun and warm air. Each one of us chose a different menu item. Some chose from the Easter menu and others from the regular menu. All of us loved the food. I had the delicious Mahi Mahi. Servings were generous and take home boxes were needed. I highly recommend the Key Lime Pie in a Jar! Our server was very personable and made our day very special. This is a MUST visit establishment! Ambiance, great food, excellent service, and reasonably priced.
Since 2011 it has been a tradition to meet family and friends at Bayfront on Friday evening during happy hour for cocktails, wine and often food. Our group has shrunk over time given our age, but has gone from around 24 to a low of eight or nine. Tonight we were told we couldn’t sit together as the pub tables could only accept four people and it was difficult for the wait staff to wait on more than four at a table. The place was more than half empty. Next year that might be a crowd as we are looking for a new location for our Friday night gatherings. Sorry for the wait staff as my tip was close to 40% tonight. Most of us tip a minimum of 20 to 25%. If the manager has made this decision to limit pub tables to four persons - he or she should be fired, or pay from his or her Pocket enough to make up the difference in lost tips to the wait staff. At our table tonight that would be at least $40.00.
Service was very friendly, beer was cold, and the location is great for being outdoors on the water. There is a great deal of potential for this place, maybe it was just a bad day in the kitchen, but the nachos were mediocre at best.
Holy Moly. I gave this place a chance to respond to an email and just like their service...no response! We came on a Saturday morning around 10am for breakfast and thought for sure with its location on the water it would be packed! Low and behold it wasn't at all! Thought we got lucky. So we sat down and took about 15 minutes before someone helped us. We ordered beverages and food and besides waiting long for service everything was fine until...The wrong orders came out (two were right, two benedicts were wrong). The waitress seemed confused and brought the food back. By the time the new orders came out the other two were already done eating. The correct orders came out except one of the benedicts had no hollandaise sauce. When she took a bite she chomped on a big piece of egg shell!!! (Shown in the picture attached!) So either the staff did it purposely because the orders had to be returned or the staff did it purposely! That's a lot of shell to not notice it!We sat with our drinks empty for 30 minutes, wanted to get more but finally decided we aren't going to give any more of our money to this establishment. The waitress ignored our table for a long period of time after this as she helped all the tables around us numerous times. We couldn't have been nicer given the situation. It's no wonder why this place was dead on Saturday late morning on such a prime spot on the water. We will NEVER go back and don't waste your time. Plenty of better places in the area.
View is nice. Waitress was overworked and not very helpful or friendly. Our food was not what we expected. Ordered the Bamboo Platter that boasts crudite and dip. That consisted of 4 old celery sticks and runny ranch dressing. The quesadillas were ok but they did not come with sour cream or salsa and when we asked for it the waitress did not want to go get it. Not sure our drinks had any alcohol in them.Very disappointed!!!!!
This was a horrible experience. I sat myself and for about 15/20min no one attended to my table. Someone who hi said they not my server took my order. Food was greasy, couldn’t even eat it. I then waited for about 40min for someone to clear my table and give me my check. I felt racially secluded because two tables walked in at the same time as me but they were both attended to immediately. Mind you this was not a busy night. Besides the nice view, the food was horrible and the service was worse. Wouldn’t recommend!!!!!
Enjoyed the happy hour food, but the drinks were disappointing. The bartender or server made mistakes on the drink orders and the amount of alcohol seemed lower than normal. Nice large outdoor patio and convenient location.
Stacey was a sweet waitress! She was totally busy last night, but she made a huge effort to serve us well. She was incredibly personal to our table of nine, which you dont always see with big groups of college students.Stacey had great communication, and took care of all of our needs. I would highly recommend this restaurant, it was a laid back environment with live music. Such an amazing and relaxing night with friends.
